We had a perfect holiday. This B&B is deserving of appreciation and respect. After reading a few challenging reviews, there were certain criticisms raising alarms and causing some concerns. Since we are budget minded travelers, we've had some good experiences and some bad. Our worries were caused by reviews citing problems with a dog, with the smell of a house plant (jasmine) and the complaints about the bed mattress, and other awkward complaints. We found none of these problems. Instead, we enjoyed a lovely and super clean room, the building was tidy and well-cared-for, and our bedroom was charming with thoughtful lighting, efficient furnishings, and some artwork. We slept very soundly on good quality clean sheets on a very comfortable mattress. Plus the towels were high quality, not the cheap kind. The location of Cabrera House is really perfect... a short walk to the beautiful sandy beach (open to the public) and close to lots of restaurants, and a supermarket. We did not expect the breakfast - included - to be so generous, nutritious, and tasty. It was refreshing to have a good morning meal to start the day and not have to wander around looking for a neighborhood bar or struggling to make coffee in an unfamiliar beach house or holiday apartment. Our host, Giavanni, was super accommodating and professional. He was extra helpful, kind and considerate. We found nothing to complain about, only a very excellent stay for our two wonderful nights with lots of compliments making this B&B worth recommending.

We stayed here for one night, before taking the ferry to Malta and it was an excellent choice. It’s very close to the beach (5 min walk), nearby local restaurants and supermarkets are down the road. Having read the reviews beforehand, it was just as we expected and the staff were very welcoming, with good communication via text message. Smooth check in. The room was big and spacious, including an indoor courtyard with a fridge to keep food and drinks cool. Breakfast was a nice spread too! We were very fortunate as the owner kindly offered us a lift to the port to catch our ferry the next day and looked after our bags after we checked out.

Room was overall clean, although could use some fresh paint in a few places. The private interior courtyard compensated for the lack of a view. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, a power outlet adapter was provided on request. Breakfast was basic but get's the job done and quality was good.

Some parts of the room, especially the shower and bathroom in general, seem rather dated and could really use a renovation.

This was a perfect place for us as we came in on the ferry from Malta and had to pick up a rental car the next morning. Our lovely host, Guiseppe, drove us in his car to the rental place! This was so nice and really made the entire stay perfect.

- very friendly host - cleanliness - pleasant-scented room - comfortable - healthy and abundant breakfast - very quite inside the building - value for money - accommodation very close to the beach, port, and other establishments with food and fuel facilities

- the shower could use a rubber mat as it was very slippery - not being high season, parking near the accommodation wasn't a complete hassle. But in high season it can become an ordeal if you want to park your car as close to the accommodation as possible - the accommodation is located in a touristic zone near the sea so on weekends, especially Saturdays, expect noise to continue well in the early hours

Cabrera House was very clean and our room was huge Our host was very kind and met us with a smile when we arrived quite late at night The breakfast was very good and the dining area opened out onto a large balcony overlooking the street Our room was very quiet but our son had a room next door and he was disturbed by noises To be expected as we were situated in Pozzallo itself Very short walk to the beach and restaurants

Parking was a little tricky to find. No sea views if that is what you are expecting

The property is located right in the centre of Pozzallo very close to the beaches, restaurants and shops. We were given a warm welcome even though we checked in late. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Thankyou. Everything was perfect. Will recommend this to our friends:)

The hosts are very nice, the breakfast is pretty decent, there is a small roof terrace and it is perfectly located. Very close to the beach and a very good pizza place (GoPizza) is only 50m away. A big plus are the window shades as you can black out the room entirely.

The bathroom was a bit smelly at times but after taking a shower it was all good again.

Nice staff. Flexi check in. Choice of room, quiet. 250 metres from cafes, beach. Highly recommended. Plain, single room. Secure , ground level storage for my e bike.

Very good location, near city centre. Very clean, you have everything you might need for few nights. Also the breakfast was very good.

My room had a window facing the street which was very noisy. You could hear all the cars and motorbikes until late night and again early in the morning. I had to sleep with earplugs.
