What a lovely little B&B! So easy to get everywhere and only 10 minutes (max) walk from Vatican City. Beautifully clean and housekeeping daily. Nice well equipped shared kitchen area if you need it. Only missing a microwave - although I personally do not think that is necessary. In a lovely quiet secure building in a nice area. There is a fabulous food market very close by and an incredible gelataria -Mannys- just round the corner (artisan ice cream takeaway and very cheap!) Breakfast is served in a cafe a minutes walk away and is a lovely Italian breakfast of pastry (they are huge!) and a coffee or colder drink - I had iced lemon tea what hubby had an excellent caffe con latte. Fantastic place to stay and host is brilliant keeping in touch with us for our arrival (we were arriving early (12) and Michele met us at the door and showed us to our room - which was large and comfortable. Shower was great and bathroom a good size. If you are looking for a bargain in Rome this place is it.

We stayed there for a couple of days. This hotel has good location, close to Vatican City, just a 4-minute walk from the Vatican Museum and Ottaviano metro station. The room was clean and recently renovated. The owners, Michele and Daniele, are very friendly and helpful. On the day we returned, public transportation workers were on strike; the metro was closed, and bus service was reduced. Our previously booked taxi did not show up on time, but Michele helped us solve the problem and get to the airport. In summary, the hotel offers great value for its affordable price. Highly recommended to everyone.

The location is excellent, close to tourist attractions; convey Kent for public transport! The rooms are nice, bright, and big, with an accessible kitchenette that offers tea/coffee at all times. I really enjoyed the breakfast voucher which offers a coffee and pastry at a cafe down the road. The host patiently waited for my arrival after the train had been delayed for a long time and was quick to respond to a special request. Many thanks!

I highly recommend staying at Cardinal Vatican Inn. The place is in the heart of the historic city. We walked a lot on the streets and felt the pulse of the ancient and medieval city. You can get around by metro, which is a few minutes away, or by bus, which has stops nearby.

Everything was excellent. I have nothing to complain about. The host was helpful and gave us all the information we needed.

You can't get closer to central Rome and the Vatican than The Cardinal, the hotel itself is quite anonymous from the road and only has three rooms but it's very comfortable with good in room facilities. Breakfast is offered via a voucher for a nearby cafe which consists of a pastry or croissant and coffee. Just one tip, when you arrive to the hotel look for the name on the button panel by the main front door, it's the only way to gain access

Maybe a bit more breakfast offering would of been nice but for the price of the accomodation we aren't complaining.

It is in very great location, confortable to reach from every side of Rome, near Vatican actually. Very generous and friendly host, always ready to help and easy to reach. Very clean place to stay, facilities are great, cleaning is provided everyday :) Free candies, coffee/tea in room it is like a cherry on top + breakfast near which provides excellent food and coffee. Recommended 😍

Breakfast was subpar. Just a note that if you're booking for August 2024, the Octaviano metro station (the closest one to the Inn) will be closed until September, so it can be a little inconvenient - not the host's fault of course.

Just a short stroll from the Vatican and a quick 10-minute walk to the Metro. Surrounded by restaurants, the room was cosy with modern touches. Breakfast was simple, offering a taste of Italian delights (The adjoining restaurant offers a complimentary simple Italian breakfast, with options to indulge in more Italian specialities at a good price). Hosts were warm and welcoming, making it feel like a true Roman getaway. 🇮🇹

Breakfast was served in a nearby cafe. It was a traditional Italian breakfast of coffee and croissant. The location is quite good, the Vatican is a few steps away and the public transport stop is relatively close. In the neighborhood are several options to take a meal and buy necessary in the grocery.

The cafe across the street was quite loud.

Location is nice - 10min walk to te Vatican. Stuff is nice - I had a great experience with Daniele.

Couldn't lower the temp of the heater. I like colder temp af night.
