The breakfast was perfect - large portions, served fresh. Good variety to choose from - egs omlette, chese, ham, fruits, croissants, cake, good coffee. The room was very nice and VERY clean! The staff very responsive and helpful!
I like it all. Everything exceded our expectations. Very good quality for cost! If I go to Rome again I will choose this hotel again. We had a very delayed flight arriving; our hosts were communicating with us on whatsapp assuring us the room is ready, not to worry when we arrive, someone will be there to welcome us. This was true, they had everything prepared, keys, clean and very nice room. I could not ask for more.

It is sparkling clean. The room looks even more beautiful than the photos. I like the room layout, the furniture, the bedding, the toilet, wifi, the helpful and kind stuff, breakfast, the location. Everything is perfect. And much better than we expected, especially for the price in such a good location. We arrive in the morning, Stefano met me at the front door and allowed me early check in. After checking out, I left my luggage in the hotel at reception and came back to pick up later. The reception lady was very nice. She helped us to call a taxi for us. And she went downstairs to wait for the taxi together as we don’t speak Italian. Very appropriate their help, I will rebook this hotel definitely next time in Rome.
The single bed is a little too short for an adult.

Dear Sirs, by this review we would like to express our gratitude to the staff of Vatican Suites, especially Fabiana - a wonderful responsive girl, she made us an early breakfast for the journey, we were leaving at night! VaticanSuites Residence has a great location, close to the Vatican, in an old house with a lovely courtyard, wonderfully organised: neat, clean, lovely fresh renovations, helpful staff, cleaned every day. Our best memories and recommendations.

Everything was so nice. The host contacted us to give us tips how to arrive from the airport. The girl Fabiana was so nice and helpful, she allowed us to enter the room at 12, just as we arrived. The room was super clean and well equipped. The breakfast was very good too. You could choose what you wanted to eat the next day. The beds were comfy, the street safe, and the area was close to Vatican and the city. All in all, the Rome is a wonderful city, but this hotel makes you feel like home.

Breakfast was very awesome. And the reception, Matteo, he pick us from downstairs himself, explain all facilities very detailed. Bathroom was very clean. Hot water and heater worked very well. There are lively neighborhood with stores and bus station. Even we didn't realized it was only 1 km from Vatican city. So yeah, we enjoy going to St Peter by foot.
A little bit minus point is that the room a bit smelly when we first come, but that's not big issue for us....

The location was only alright but the beds and rooms were very clean. I really appreciated that if we used soap it was replenished everyday. Breakfast cost 35E for two and it was decent but not amazing. All the staff were lovely, and we very much enjoyed the A/C
Breakfast was a little disappointing for the price, although it was quite convenient. I think that along with the amount of walking we had to do to get to the more popular locations are my biggest pet peeves.

The location is excellent - 6 minutes walk to the Metro subway and 3 minutes walk from the SIT bus stop from the airport. They also offered to arrange a ride for us to the location if we wished. Excellent Italian-style breakfast with croissants, meat and cheese, bacon with eggs, juice, and several types of coffee to choose from. I also appreciate that they have hangers in the closet and an electric kettle with a selection of tea to choose from. They also cleaned the room for us for each night we stayed.
Since we arrived on our own, we had a little difficulty finding which elevator and floor to go to. This is the first place we stayed in Rome so we did not know what to expect. Once you arrive at the building, enter through the front door, take the elevator right in front of you and go to the 1st floor.

Breakfast: Quite good, though repetitive. We appreciated the checklist day-ahead selection approach. We liked the fresh pastries and their variety, as well as the fruit and yogurt, toaster and juices. For a small spot, they did very well! Staff: Excellent support, pleasantness, help making dinner reservations, and advice on getting around. Facilities: When in Italy, one must always appreciate an elevator! Thank you for that, and for the spotlessly clean rooms and good security. It was well-located relative to the metro and bus line, on one hand, and to the Vatican City, on the other.
Breakfast: A bit more variety would be nice, after a couple of days. For instance, a choice of another style of egg would be nice, rather than an omelette every day (and a fluffier omelette would be nice rather than the decidedly thin, crepe-like style). Staff: Two of the three staff were invariably kind, sincere, and abundantly helpful at all times! One fellow, though a tad surly and impatient initially when handling newbie questions about the metro/bus lines, adjusted fully and became very helpful after a word was spoken. ;} Facilities: Rooms a tad small, but that’s the norm here, after all, and they were both clean and well-appointed.

Very nice place, great room and facilities. The elevator which others commented about, we liked very much and added a touch of ambiance. The location was perfect as my mother and I hoped to see the Vatican and it was a short walk away on a very fashionable main street. Our time (one evening) was too short to see other sights, but it is a brief walk or train ride from other beautiful places in Rome as well.
Everything was perfect. The room was great, the two hosts we met, Mateo and Andrea, were kind and explained everything well. My mother who is 83, is picky and liked everything, especially the cleanliness and newness of the room and the location. Maybe one tiny thing to change is the fixture for the toilet paper holder was loose in our room, so can fall off if used the wrong way. But very small detail and otherwise all was great. The airport transfer whom we hired was late but they are a totally different company from the hotel, so can't fault them. Would be good to call the car service ahead of time, the morning of your trip, just to make sure (a direct phone number/WhatsApp is provided by hotel staff, so works well).

This hotel was recommended by friends who stayed there earlier this summer. It was fantastic! Staff was very helpful and arranged taxis for us to the Colosseum and the airport. Location was very convenient and safe, about a 10 min walk from the Vatican museum and Castel Sant'Angelo. We walked to dinner close by and enjoyed the area. There were a lot of breakfast options available. The room was very clean, which is always a priority. We are so glad we stayed here instead of the area by the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, which had an extremely crowded, Disney-like atmosphere.
