We liked our accommodation here. The premises are in fact an old renovated aristocratic apartment, which has been divided into separate rooms with common entrance and kitchen. We stayed in Gianicolo room with a private bathroom and a window view on the back of the building (probably better for the noise- in front is facing a pretty central avenue). The room was small but clean (cleaning service every next day), with a closet and with a very nice mosaic floor. The common kitchen had all the essentials. We loved Prati neighborhood, a "chic" area with restaurants and shops, closer to Vatican,a good change of images after walking all day in the historical center. It's 10-12 minutes walking from the beginning of the center and 20-30 from the center (colosseum is more far away) but also the buses were really good service to us to go back and forth, pretty regular and fast just around the corner. Mini market is also just below the apartment. Metro station Lepanto is nearby but Rome metro wasn't very helpful for us. Check in was automatic, by sending passports to a what's up and receiving entrance codes.

Minor minuses: -The toilet was mechanical and was a bit noisy (and strangely smelly sometimes) - the door locks were a bit tricky to find your way with the keys, instructions would have been helpful - the bedroom door is a simple room door, although with a lock, no security box inside. - the tv is old, no Netflix and we couldn't even connect to stream - next to the entrance there is a mini casino place and some sketchy old drunkards sit outside on the bench almost every day and night. - the price could be a bit lower, considering it's only a room but that's Rome 2025. Overall we didn't have any problem, the communication with the owner was fast and good and we are happy with our accommodation. Thank you.

Owner is really responsive to questions and gives a lot of recommendations, clear instructions for apartment. There were no noise from outside or from other rooms, but if people would hang out in the kitchen you could hear them a bit. In shower all amenities were possible: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner (because didn’t saw them in the picture before). Bed was comfortable, curtains dark so was super dark at night. Downstairs there is a grocery store and also super nice caffe Portofino and caffe Cicerone for breakfast or even for aperol spritz. Perfect! Location is super nice, Vatican is reachable by foot and also other places. Direct bus also goes to colosseum. Thank you again - perfect stay!

Everything was perfect

Very good location in Prati which is an elegant neighbourhood near Vatican. One can walk to the center, a metro station is near. Apartment was clean and wi-fi was very good. Room is spacious. Breakfast is basic but useful. There is no kitchen for preparing food, but shared dining room equipped with toasts, butter, tea, coffee, etc. We didn't meet the owner, bit he was responsive with the messages which was enough for pleasant stay. Also, bus station for shuttle bus to the Fiumicino airport is 100m away which is very convenient if you travel in night hours.

I suspect that in the warm weather it can be a bit noisy with open windows in the evening. That was not problem for us. Otherwise it is excellent, wealthy and safe neighborhood with beautiful and well maintained old buildings. The apartment itself is in one of such buildings.

Room was spacious and the apartment is located in excellent area, all major locations are within walking distance or bus/metro ride away. The area is not very touristic which we liked a lot, and is very quiet. Although we didn't meet the host, he kindly left a map of rome in our room and also provided us with several restaurant recommendations and recommendations of places to visit.

Shower is a bit small.

Pros are: central location, walking distance from historical sites, easy check-in, lively area, communicative and friendly host.

It would be nice to have slippers in the room as the floor was very cold. Air conditioner was functioning, but was very weak to warm up the entire room. There is also heater, however, it works during certain times, so be mindful about that.

Safe spacious room. Excellent location to access historical sites. Very quiet. Great shared kitchen facilities if you want to eat in. Host very responsive with any queries. Extremely comfortable bed.

Please note there is Noise from mechanical waste from toilet and shower (Gianicolo room)

The location! Felt like we could have been locals! The room was well equipped and had everything that we needed. I would certainly stay here again

It was all good, but be aware that there is an old style lift but you still need to go up 7/8 steps to reach it so wouldn't be suitable for people with accessibility issues.

Great location, we went back to siesta for an hour between visiting St Peters & Vatican museums, as it was so hot out. Only 20 minutes each way Very attentive host Alessio. Really handy shared kitchen space and coffee machine.

The foam mattress bed wouldn't be my preference.

Great information from host making it very easy to get to from metro 5 mins away. Lift to 4th floor. Beautiful room with large en suit , shower excellent with good quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash plenty towels, bed and bedding high standard. Good air-conditioning access to kitchen with tea and coffee and fridge. Close to many attractions and amenities.

Nothing

The location is wonderful—in a mostly residential area, so busy but few other tourists—yet easily accessible to the metro and walking many places. The room was very nice, spotlessly clean, and a nice breakfast with coffee always available. It is on 4th floor, but there is a lift. There is also a sidewalk cafe/bar right outside that is lovely and open late. Alessio gave us great restaurant recommendations, information about the area and was very responsive. Wonderful stay!
