Everything! The experience was dreamy, the staff were amazing, the property is beautiful, luscious and cozy. It is definitely a special experience and would revisit in the future! We tried the cooking with Chef Nikola & Chef Lizabette, it was like cooking with a friend! We booked horse riding with Coach Lina, she was the best, very patient, friendly and we enjoyed our time! Liana at the reception was the best host, and the team are just amazing from the buggy drivers (Thomaso, John Carlo), to the handwritten notes from the resident manager! Thank you for making our experience special.

The stay at Il Borro was simply unforgettable. The team was extremely charming, all very polite, attentive, and helpful, assisting in organizing all our activities with great care. The experiences we had — from the Truffle Hunting, Farm Tour to the hot air balloon ride, the leather and the silver workshops, and the estate’s wine pairings — were all special, with impeccable quality in the services, meals, and hospitality. I also highlight the beauty and tranquility of the place, which provide a true breath of well-being.

The staff was phenomenally helpful and friendly.

They need to figure out passage to the old village as quiet carts would be much more preferable to the constant of staff driven cars and small trucks for workers. Creates noise that just isn’t needed in those settings and takes away from the wonderful foot journey from main facility to village when one has to dodge or feel pushed by vehicles.

The property is stunning, the rooms are beautiful and well appointed, and the staff was very pleasant. It’s a very beautiful and relaxing place. The included breakfast is lovely.

With the exception of the breakfast, the food is very mediocre and overpriced for what you’re getting, even the Osteria “fine dining” option, and the menus are very limited. The bar and wine options are also ridiculously overpriced - an Aperol Spritz is 23 euro???

I literally had tears in my eyes leaving this place! The service, the attention to detail, the history, the combination of luxury, nature, wine, food and even a little bit of fashion is exceptional. I can not recommend more!

We went during the third week of April which could be a little rainy, so unfortunately we didn't get the chance to go horseback riding. That is of course up to nature and to be honest there are PLENTY of other activities you can do to compensate.

We loved staying here and have already decided to come back for our anniversary. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, the location was exquisite, and our room was very comfortable. We had probably the best meal of our lives at Osteria del Burro - this chef is outstanding. The other restaurants were also very good and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I highly recommend taking a horseback riding tour of the property!

Beautifull setting, very spacious and interesting. Our room was also spacious, more than we expected in a village. Staff is trying to do their best. Manager Luisa is doing a very good job.

My horseback riding trainer Francesca was completly uninterested in anything taknig phone calls, writing messages and recording voices during my class (yes, during riding) and this was my first time. Didnt tell me anything about horses or the ride, I tried to catch her attention with questions between her phone calls to learn at least something. I believe she is only cooperant of the Borro property so I has nothing to do with the hotel itself.

The perfect stay in Toscana. Our room in il Borgo was very comfortable and extremely clean. The service offered is impeccable and the dining experiences were extremely memorable. I would highly recommend the horse ride with Michela, a great guide and passionate horse rider who will take your around the estate showing you the beautiful vineyards of the family.

Very unique hotel, in a beautiful location. The rooms very tastefully decorated and of a good size. The facilities were amazing, with lots of activities. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We only stayed two nights, but would have loved to stay a few more!! If you want to get away from the stresses of life, this is definitely the place.

Not equipped for newborn / infant who require changing spaces. The service we experienced at Osteria del Borro is not at the right level for this type of venue, and should be improved; However the meal was delicious. The Quality, presentation and choice variety of the room service also needs improvement.
