The hotel is in a very beautiful historical building, the room is quite big, there is a cathedral just 5 m from the hotel walls and you can admire the view of the cathedral at the window of your room.

Huge beautiful room with 3 massive windows and high ceilings. Huge and comfortable bed. So rare to find such space. Spotlessly clean. Perfect for our toddler. The breakfast is fantastic. They are very child friendly.

The hotel corridors, lift and entrance are all very highly perfumed and in all honesty it made me feel a little funny as I am very sensitive to smell. Luckily our room was not as otherwise I would have struggled.

Excellent room, large, airy and well furnished, in dignified late 19th century building near the seafront. Generous breakfast with good range of items in a magnificent dining room with a view of the sea. Close to the seafront promenade with several good restaurants a short walk away. Reception excellent, staff went out of their way to be helpful. Fine Russian orthodox church next door.

The mattresses were a bit too soft for us, but a minor quibble in view of all the very positive points..

Located close to the old town, walking distance to main attractions. Clean and stately building, nice breakfast, comfortable beds

Pillows could be much better, night staff at the reception could be more knowledgeable - they couldn't explain the best way to pay for the parking. The morning team told us right away that we need to download the parking app in order to pay reduced fees.

Reception staff do not speak English very well …

Clean, classy, comfortable, very poilte and heartful personnel. asked a glass of wine in the bar at night, never saw it on the bill, despite insisting. Really appreaciate those small things that make a difference. Flawless and reach breakfast with a good view from the sitting area. All points for a higher value, would have expected to send a bit more for such accomodation. Maybe off-season in January.

If it were possible to give six stars, I might try to give seven. The rooms are tightly called “suites,” and mine was bright and airy with wonderful windows and shutters and views. it helped that I was on the top (fourth floor). The bed was so comfortable, and everything else was just right. Enormous marble bathroom.

No gym or pool — but not got great exercise just walking up the stairs and all over town. and the “beach clubs” across the street are fine.

Fabulous room, Very spacious and with a French feel, beautifully decorated and supercomfy, wonderful bath tub. The staff is welcoming and professional and the location is perfect to visit Sanremo by feet. Highly recommended it !

The hotel is immaculate inside and out with marble floors in the public areas. Staff are friendly and breakfast good - one of the few hotels in Italy that does those custard-filled croissants you get in Italian bars but seemingly nowhere else. Proper hot drinks service at breakfast - from a real person not one of those dreadful self-service machines.

There are steps up to the main entrance - press a button and someone will come and help you with your bags. There is level access round the back somewhere so anyone with mobility issues should tell the hotel before arriving.

Very friendly and efficient staff; remembered us having a (big) dog with us and gave us the same room as before, an ideal one with a terrace. More expensive during summer, but that’s understandable. A great espresso before we got on the road.
