We loved the view, the unique style of the hotel and the overall atmosphere – everything felt welcoming and interesting. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and we even received a free upgrade. The rooms were spacious, and the bathroom had a really nice design.

What we didn’t like was the breakfast – it was below average. There was very little variety, the coffee tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time, and overall the quality was disappointing. For a hotel of this level, we expected a much better breakfast experience. Also, parking was an issue. The hotel charges €16 for parking, and it’s really hard to find a spot. Another downside was the noise during the night. Around 3 AM, a group of people was making loud noise for over half an hour. The sound insulation is poor, and we were all woken up, which really affected our sleep.

the room is new and clean, with modern finishing, the view from the window is overshadowed by a crane and construction that block the beautiful view of the sea. the hotel itself is from 1888, when you get there you are transported back 137 years, everything breathes antiquity. Everything is clean, but right at the entrance you are greeted by a carpet that lies on the floor and is very old and spoils the whole impression of the hotel. the breakfast is decent and tasty

Great location with an easy walk to the beach and San Remo esplanade.. The reception desk was extremely welcoming. Parking at the hotel was available. The room had a great view of the sea, comfortable bed, AC, clean and good internet. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Excellent hotel and we would return.

The 2 min walk down the hill to the sea is easy, but the return is not as easy. :)

We expected the hotel to be quite run down or antiquated but it was actually in good ‘belle epoque’ state. We had a big room that slept four, surprisingly big certainly for the price we got it for. Breakfast was fine. Staff friendly. Convenient parking. Good location: 3 mins walk to the beach and 15mins or so to the center.

Parking right in front of the hotel is very handy, but in a way a shame they don’t use that space for a pool or terrace with sea view.

I love this place and the staff. They always remember me when I Return and I am very very happy to happy always find the same staff still working there. Its one of the best signs that show the care of management and the staff about their work and about each other. From the Chef to the Bar tender to the reception and Director of Operations, they all mobilize to help and make sure all is well. Great view, great breakfast selection and the most important is Consistency over the years. They have achieved it

Loved the hotel,area,etc.Room with a sea view and french doors opening onto balcony was lovely.Bar/lounge area and restrooms lovely also.

My only dislike was the breakfast hot counter could have been better maintained, I got a fried egg that wasn't cooked,as in the albumen was visible,went back for a better cooked one,only one left,not appetising looking,asked for a fresh one,but by the time a fresh tray arrived I had eaten a boiled egg instead,so too late! Otherwise, very good selection of cold foods,juices,cereals,fruit, breads etc.

A beautiful faded GRAND DAME of a Hotel - yet still holds her own ... A VERY nice experience ! A PERFECT location ! ONSITE parking / SAFE ...

The lobby and bar could be updated as well as the restaurant area but in genral they tried their best to maintain a very large property which ultimately made for a wonderful travel experience !

It was fun and had the old-world charm. Nice view. People were very nice and very accommodating and spoke English.

Our door would not lock. We basically had to leave the door open wail we were gone. They tried to fix it, but it still kept happening. They were very attentive and kind, but it was a bit difficult to take all your valuables with you every time you left your room. One other item if you can not walk up hills...lots of hills get a lower hotel, not one on a hill. The walk-up to this hotel was difficult.

Fantastic place...Fantastic location...Fantastic staff!! The hotel is very beautiful and you need to enjoy his history! For breakfast you had many choices and on top you could have lunch and dinner . Room was very big and spacious. There are a couple of spaces for electric cars and you can charge for a fixed fee of €30. Pets are allowed against a small fee a day like €10 a day. Walking distance from the city centre!

During our time which we spent in hotel I think that for special thanks, deserved all ladies who were cleaning our room🙂they are amazing!!!
