A stay at Il Villino storico is a unique experience not merely a night at a random hotel. The friendliness of the staff is wonderful and the whole place is welcoming and familiar.

The single size bed (which I understood later is in accordance with Italian laws for single size bed) was a little too small, and I believe it should be moved to the opposite wall because its current location begs for bruising passers-by.

Overall beautiful hotel and propertt! Loved the free parking. The spa experience was lovely as well.

The rooms even with AC were a bit warm and the breakfast could also be a little more exciting. Maybe a more interesting plating (on wood, different levels), something more esthetically pleasing to match the rest of the hotel!

We had an amazing time at Villino. It's really central and yet secluded and peaceful. I highly recommend the spa experience, which was nothing short than amazing. I want to say thank you to all the staff for making our stay just perfect

The hotel was great especially that the staff were all super helpful and that the location was also perfect!

I think the breakfast could be better... We only had one breakfast there and skipped the other two and went to a cafe instead.. also, the room tends to be very loud as it is not well insulated. We could hear our neighbors in the room next door and upstairs as well as when people were checking in and out. Not sure about everyone, but we like sleeping in and the cleaning staff started quite early in the morning and we could hear everything from our room. Unfortunately they were also not trying to be a bit more silent. But I guess these issues could easily be arranged differently 🙂

Everything! What a really pleasant experience. We did not know beforehand what a pretty little medieval town we were going to be staying in. Wonderful to have parking within the hotel walls. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well. Definitely good value for money and would definitely recommend.

Would have liked to have been able to hang up the shower head.

We loved everything a about this hotel, amazing location, beautiful gardens and the hotel well omg, amazing. Breakfast also very good, will definitely be coming back to this hotel!! Loved it!! The age the feel nothing to complain about!!

Lovely location and rustic but elegant. It feels to be in a way more expensive villa.

Room was a bit tiny and conditioner feels old so not so powerful. But to be fair has been super hot these days.

Everything at Il Viillino is great, the building and the garden surrounding it are fantastic, the rooms are amazing, redecorated with great taste and very comfortable, I would not go anywhere else when I’m in the area, I stopped going because I went to live in another continent but I’m very happy to be back !

Beautiful place, right in the center of the town, but in very quiet area. Nice breakfast that you can enjoy outside in the garden. Very helpful staff.
