We stayed two nights at Villa Rier in Alpe di Siusi and had a lovely experience. We arrived very late, but the check-in process was smooth thanks to the clear directions from the host on how to get the keys. The room was clean and comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect base for exploring the Dolomites. Breakfast was good with a nice variety to start the day. The host was thoughtful and made everything easy for us. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay – we’d be happy to return and recommend it to others visiting the area.

The view from the balcony was absolutely phenomenal. I sat there for hours reading and watching the sun set. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Worth the €10. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

100% my fault - but you need to have a car to get here easily. Nearest bus stop is fine to go down, but not always to come up. Or at least I didnt figure it out. So that's on me, just prepare the transportation. Taxis wouldn't pick me up from Siusi Autostazione because it was too short a drive to the hotel (but a 30 minute walk uphill) .

A cute hotel at the edge of the village – about 1.5 km from the center – with an absolutely stunning panoramic view of the whole area. Truly magical! The rooms are very nice and cozy, each with a balcony and a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, and the cherry on top was the fresh juice machine with great options (tip: orange, carrot, celery & ginger – delicious!). All in all, a bit pricey (but cheapest in the area), but totally worth it. Highly recommended! 🍊✨

Convenience. It was a last minute booking. Luckily, check-in was until 2300hrs, as stated on booking.com. My 2 calls to the establishment was unanswered when I arrived at 2150hrs. I was about to panic when someone called me back. I waited 10mins or so and someone came and gave me the key and that was it. Nice and simple after 12hrs on the road. Heater was on in the bathroom (though didn't seem to work in the bedroom). Not too far from Campatsch/Alpe di Siusi.

There was no hot water (for shower). It was lukewarm at best. (Although, at my latter accommodation in Calalzo, the water only got hot after 5mins or so. So, maybe I didn't give this one enough time. Power point for the TV didn't work. (Rm45.)

The view from this property alone is stunning. It’s so close to Alpe di Siusi (a.k.a. Seiser Alm). The property is beautiful and you can see the quality in the furniture/woodwork in the rooms with the beds and closets and upholstered chairs/benches. We loved the continental breakfast that was plentiful and offered a juicer.

The property is dated and though there is nothing wrong with that since many people these days actually seek out vintage. We would only recommend updating linens as the towels were frayed. Curtains and rugs needed some mending in places. There were some minor maintenance things like repairs to doors, some wooden decorative heater covers needed repair and areas of decking and shutters needed a little maintenance.

The room and the hall were clean and tidy. I actually loved the design of the room (some say it’s dated but it’s cozy for me). Haven’t seen any staff although I was able to communicate with them through this app and they were helpful. Location was quite a distance from the town but was a good excuse for some warm up pre and post hike haha. Bus stop is just few mins across the villa.

No staff to talk to, but not a big fuss.

The breakfast at this little hotel was delicious & the staff that served us were super friendly & helpful. We stayed one night & were able to leave our bags at the hotel while we headed out on a circuit walk in the Dolomites for 2 nights. We then came back to stay for another night. So many hotels in this area have a 3 night minimum stay so this was the main appeal for this place.

The hotel is unstaffed except for the breakfast period.

This place was a little surprise. Retro but comfortable. Super warm and quiet. Loved the view from the balcony. Situated in a little town close to Ortisei. We interacted with someone when we arrived who gave us our missing key but we weren’t sure if they were the owner 😆

Everything is outdated but that’s part of its charm!

Beyond expectation. Corner room. 2 windows. View of the city and mountains. The view encompasses the tallest villa in Suise, which stands before the forest that leads towards Valentine. The highest point of Suise offers the best view. Equal in height to St. Valentine's Chapel.

Washing machine add cost outside the room. But we don't use it.

It was clean, tidy. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy The view was great overlooking the mountains

Very difficult to find in the dark. Arrived In the dark. No lighting outside where the parking is or up to the property. A little confusing as no signs so didn’t know which drive to go up and when we did go up the correct drive. It was still dark and still not obvious where to go
