We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming historic boutique hotel nestled in a quiet town. The peaceful setting was the perfect base for exploring nearby scenic sites, and the location made day trips easy and convenient. The breakfast and dinner were truly delicious — thoughtfully prepared and full of local flavor. The dining rooms themselves have such a warm, inviting ambience that every meal felt special. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. A lovely experience all around — we would happily return!

Great location - city center - where you can feel cosy atmosphere around. Great hotel in general - modern room with a touch of history, big luxury bathroom, comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast with a wide selection of everything. Pastries are out of this world. Beautiful restaurant preserving the history of the region. Elevator to the rooms also available.

Service at the restaurant to be improved. I felt ignored by a waiter as I was speaking English not German or Italian. He also gave me an appetizer in the same time as a main meal it was disappointing. Welcoming water would be a nice touch, I was expecting it in such a hotel.

I had the best breakfast I've ever experienced in a hotel of this size. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend dining at the hotel restaurant—both the food and the wine are of excellent quality. If I travel to this area again, I will definitely choose this hotel. It's larger than it appears, and the restaurant is quite spacious. During the high season, some rooms may experience noise from the outdoor terrace during dinner time.

The stay was amazing! Breakfast had so much variety. The rooms were immaculately clean and spacious. The beds and bedding were so comfortable, I want these at home for ourselves. The restaurant was also very delicious. We had the veal steak there and it blew our minds. The parking was 5 euros for a whole day. You can go to the underground parking or the parking lot next to the old centre.

The only thing that would make this hotel even better would be air conditioning.

The hotel is located on a hillside with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the lovely view. I believe all the rooms do, but you may want to confirm that if you decide to book. The facilities are charmingly decorated in an Austrian style. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Absolutely do try the cookies that she bakes they are fantastic. The walk down to town and the lake takes about 10 to 15 minutes…right to the shore…but I’m slow. The walk up was tougher, but it was really hot and I was sick (with a very bad chest cold caught in Salzburg) yet still doable. If you have a car you could easily just drive down and park. The couple that owns the hotel and farm are lovely, the wife does speak English too.

The hotel is in the historic centre of Chiusa, and while renovated, they maintained many parts of the old building. The breakfast was simply amazing. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant which was also super good.

I remembered from the Booking ad that they had private parking but in the end we had to park at the city open parking lot, quite closeby, for 5 eur per day. We never had an issue finding a spot though (August). They had a mobile aircon from which a tube had to be hung out of the window, meaning you could only use the aircon with an open window. And then from the outside of the building you can see tubes hanging from windows. Not the most efficient solution, but I assume they had an issue setting up proper aircons?

Very unwelcoming gentleman on the desk when we arrived. We popped to enquire where the private parking mentioned in the listing was, and was told there was none and demanded passports there and then before doing anything further. Public car park 2mins away but payment of €1 per hour between 8 and 7pm. Younger gentleman on desk when we checked out was lovely.

Modern, Stylish, minimalist, and well-designed, I am in love with hotels. The staff is very kind and friendly. The room was very clean and big, and it was in a great location in the old town of Klausen. The breakfast is phenomenal, with beautiful and varied choices. There is a playground next to the hotel; my daughter loved it. It is very recommended. It is sure if we have here again, I would book again. There is a car garage on the reservation. Very private and safe.

A beautiful hotel located in a quiet village approximately 27 minute drive by car to Ortessi to visit Alpe de Suiss and Seceda. The breakfast was amazing and a perfect way to start a busy day hiking. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was really good. If you are happy to stay in a quiet town I would recommend a stay here, it is definitely value for money as the standard of the room was excellent. It is very quaint and nice to wander round. We would definitely return.

The location was perfect for the portion of our trip in the western section of the Dolomites. Both Val di Funes and Val Gardena were under 30 minutes away. It was away from the busy, touristy towns, but Chiusa and the hotel itself provided their own historic and rustic charm. The restaurant and staff were fabulous.

I wish the hotel had laundry facilities (self-service) available.
