The Gasthaus is located in a charming village in the heart of Südtirol, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome. The staff are exceptionally friendly and genuinely hospitable. The balconies are either on the side where you can admire the stunning panorama, or on the opposite side, where you can enjoy views of the village center and the surrounding mountains. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The service was excellent, the price very fair, and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. It’s everything you could wish for when visiting the mountains. We left with wonderful memories and would gladly come back again.Who like the authentic place, will fall in love for this place...

The hotel is located in a nice village; Latzfons. The view of my room #501 was amazing, a stunning view to the dolomites mountains. The people of the village are so kind, I used to walk around every morning with my family and people were greeting us and smiling. Although you have to drive around 10km up, but the view and the villages you will come across are so beautiful.

Since I’ve paid more than Euro 275 a day, I was disappointed to find out that many basic facilities are unavailable in the room. For example, no fridge to keep the food, no iron, no kittle and there was even no “Don’t disturb” card. Many times they opened the door for cleaning while I was with family inside, it was bothering us. The shower has a glass wall so can be seen from outside, might not fit all travelers.

1. Beautifull view of the Dolomites mountain range from the rooms' balconies. 2. Mini Spar, a meat shop just opposite the hotel and a bakery, a coffee shop/bar nearby. 3. Moderate and nicely arranged breakfast is provided in the opposite building in a very quiet place. 4. Quiet and peaceful area with beautiful scenic surroundings 5. Unlike in most of the other hotels, they did not hurry to charge us until our check-out

1. No any other restaurants (except the one on site (which is closed on Mondays) nearby

Staff were very friendly, especially the son of the original owner. The room was nice and clean. The property is in a quiet town and close so some nice hikes. Breakfast was nice and the parking at the property was great.

Wi-Fi in our room did not work. No minibar/fridge or small amenities like a kettle. Rooms are not very sound proof, so unfortunately we had kids running around, yelling and slamming doors until late at night which kept us up when we wanted to wake early for hikes etc. But wouldn’t have been an issue if the kids weren’t there.

Propery was nice and clean with amazing views and nice surroundings. Staff was very accomodating.

One night was quite noisy through out the night. People drinking and smoking in the restaurant area until early morning hours and motorbikes running past our window, were very noisy again until early morning hours. It was a hot summer night so we had to have our balcony door open. Also it was Friday night so maybe that was the reason.

Picturesque family run hotel with the view of Dolomites in the background. Relax on the balcony with the view . Comfortable room and very clean . Great breakfast in a room with panoramic view of mountains . Secured car park and free guest pass for public transport to and from the hotel. Restaurant and bar on site serving local cuisine- staffs are polite and friendly and welcoming. Would love to go back again in near future!

Nothing to not like -

Comfortable family run place. Very authentic alpine lodge. Family works very hard. Rooms was large and comfortable with balcony and spacious bathroom. A lot of hanging and storage space. Breakfast was good and so was dinner. Loved the local wine selection, especially gewurztraminer. When we arrived, we were concerned about the summer heat with no air conditioning, but even the hottest midday heat was barely felt and the evenings were very cool.

Staff was excelent, facilities were amazing, clean and comfortable. Food was also amazing and reasonable priced

Only bad thing was that local church is really close and they really love to ring that bell, so if you are easy on your sleep like me, you won't get much sleep

Dinner at the restaurant was amazing. Everything on the menu is recommended. Especially the apple strudel. Service was excellent.

If a fridge/kettle was provided in the room, would be perfect

The facilities etc were nice but basic, we felt it was maybe a little overpriced overall but we still had a lovely, enjoyable stay Location in a little village up on the hillside may be too remote for some but was lovely and relaxing for us; and it is still within 30mins drive to Val di Funes
