I'd stayed here before, several years ago, and always wanted to return. The location is beautiful, with fantastic views across the gorge to Monteluco (and the Ponte delle Torri spanning it). This time we had an even better room (we were kindly upgraded to a superior room), spacious and stylishly decorated with a huge window. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the common spaces were lovely and the breakfast was very good. We hope to go back. I wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else in Spoleto.

Their picture of the 13th century pedestrian bridge is no lie - there’s an amazing view out over the ravine and across to the Monteluco side of the valley. It’s quiet, the whole of the “centro storico” is an easy walk and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We loved the enormous windows in our room, with the wonderful view. If you like museums, get the Spoleto card - you can visit all 6 museums for a reduced price within 7 days.

There’s nothing we didn’t like, but it might be worthwhile to check whether the bridge, mentioned above, the “ponte delle Torri” has re-opened. It’s been closed for more than 20 years for repairs, and was due to reopen this month, Sept ‘23. There’s another way across, but it’s a bit of a scramble. I remember how pleasant it was to walk on that side before 2000

Room was very spacious and view of the bridge was incredible. Staff were great and very friendly.

The Bathroom could have had a place to stand the shower head to have an easy shower.

Everything is great - amazing location, unique views and atmosphere, the interesting building, stylish rooms, decent breakfast, the supernice owner ar the reception. That was my 2nd visit and I'll be coming back again. Some rooms are good and some are fantastic, definitely worth paying up a few euros for higher category.

An old-style hotel in a great location. Beautiful view from the room. Comfortable bed, very clean bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.. You can park by car.
