There were many great aspects of this hotel, but I also see opportunities for improvement. My review will be constructive because I truly believe this hotel has the potential to be something special. I stayed in a suite at a reasonable price, which was a strong point for them. The bed was huge, comfortable, and absolutely incredible, making for a restful night. The unique feature of the suite was its access to a balcony—what a fantastic idea! However, it felt like a missed opportunity. The balcony could really benefit from an outdoor lounge area, separate from the rest of the hotel, along with a stylish bar lounge for guests and locals. I envisioned enjoying a refreshing drink while overlooking the central city, watching the neighborhood come alive. On the downside, the breakfast was average, and the last thing guests want to hear is employees arguing with each other. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and should never happen in a hospitality setting. With a few improvements, this hotel could truly stand out.

The room design felt like a missed opportunity. There was too much furniture, so I rearranged it to create a more comfortable space for the next guest—I hope they kept my changes! The bathroom was a great size, but the shower could use a touch of luxury to elevate the overall experience. A larger shower would make it more enjoyable, and it would be nice to see something creative done with the balcony. As of right now, I wouldn’t pay full price for the suite or consider it for a romantic weekend. It’s disappointing from that standpoint, and I truly hope the hotel invests in making that room something special for future guests.

Second time staying at this hotel and there was a slight booking issue, not the hotels fault may I add. Big thanks to the lovely receptionist who spent an evening sorting it out, in this day and age it is so nice to see exceptional service still exists. Many thanks to that lovely lady. Perfect hotel for a stop over, easy to find, and in a street you can just park outside. And within a few minutes walk into the centre of Novara.

The hotel has a lot of character, e.g. the collections of clocks, typewriters etc on display. Our room was very nice, if just a little "tired". The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, great selection, and we didn't feel rushed at all. Parking was easy, but was on the street outside.

Be aware that the hotel is in a residential area, some distance from shops and restaurants so you will need a car.

The room was big enough and every day the room was cleaned.

It says that it is a 4 star hotel but seems to have lost some stars during the time. For breakfast you have a lot of choices but vegetables were missing. In the fridge you always have 2 bottles of water and you think that is complementary, but at the end you need to pay for it and nowhere says that is the minibar.

I had a wonderful stay at the La Bussola in Novara, Italy. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and has a charming atmosphere. The rooms are very well equipped, with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and modern amenities. The hotel offers private car parking, which is a great plus in this busy area. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh and local products. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist me with any request.

Great stay, nice staff and very clean hotel. Highly recommended. Supermarket right behind. Centre 15 min away by walk. Lovely breakfast set up. We asked for a kettle in the room for our baby, given with no issues. Very satisfying.

The room was good and the bed was comfortable.

The Wifi in our room on the 4th floor was very unreliable. It worked well in the lobby, though.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, conveniently located near the city, and offered a wonderful breakfast. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and kind. I also enjoyed the nostalgic decor throughout the hotel.

The hotel and the rooms were nicely furnished, with character and a bit quirky. The toiletry in the room was very good and there were some toothbrushes! The breakfast was excellent and varied with lots of homemade cakes and even the possibility of having freshly baked croissants! All the personnel was very kind and really doing everything to help.

The hotel is in a residential area and there is not a big choice of restaurants around.
