Hotel has a perfect location. It's close to everything. The front desk staff and staff from the breakfast (especialy Ivana and her homemade cakes) are all amazing, kind and friendly. Ask them if you need any advice about food recommendations or about the attractions in Trapani. Room was nice but they should update some stuff in the bathroom. My room had a small balcony and the street view, which I really liked, but only during the day. In the evening, just next door is a bar and pizzeria and it can be difficult to sleep before 2:00 AM, especially on weekends.

The location, comfortable and convenient. Very central, easy to explore Trapani and 4 minutes walk to the port where I took the boat to Favignana island on a day trip.

Okay, facilities. Tiny old shower cubicle, and I am small. On arrival, I drove. I wish they would have told me about the app where to pay for the parking, even after mentioning that I didn't have coins. I was lucky to find the parking wards who helped me set it up and indicated where it was best to park cheaper, etc on arrival information is critical for travellers so add that to the attention to detail

Charming hotel in the heart of Trapani, located in a fascinating historic building that reflects the full cultural authenticity of the area. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort, with a balcony overlooking a lovely little square. The elegant atmosphere, typical of Sicily, makes the stay even more special. An experience I highly recommend to anyone seeking beauty, comfort, and authenticity.

We stayed one night waiting for the ferry to Favignana. Price-quality ratio very good, they offer also a breakfast for a small amount but we did not take this option. Room comfortable, simple but in line with the description.

My room was on the street where there are numerous bars and people during the night. I have not found this a great problem, but it could be if you have a light sleep.

It's right next to a reataurant/club - i had a room ovelooking the street so my window opened up onto the street where these tables were. I like the fresh air in the evening, but I didn't want to open the windows because of people smoking at the restaurant downstairs and the smoke came into my room (I'm a non smoker) Also with the bar below - it was blasting out music until late - 70s disco - so not such a bad genre... but if you want to sleep anytime before about 1am it's so noisy with the music and people chatting in the street.

I have stayed at the Maccotta before and was generally pleased with the location rooms and value for money. in those respects it was exactly what I expected, so therefore pleased.

In my room the shower, although a sophisticated item did not perform that well, the best function for me involved water being squirted straight at the screen which then leaked externally. Drain could not cope with the amount of water either and had to have short showers to avoid floods.

Could have done with a fridge in the room as it was so hot and would have been nice to have cold drinks at the ready. Also a little would have been nice.

Amazing location - very easy to get to from the airport (there’s a bus to the city centre). Close to the beach, ferries, restaurants… Staff are all very friendly and lovely.

Showers (specifically the shower head) are a bit old and can be changed as the water pressure is all over the place.

Good sized room in a great central location. Good WiFi and comfortable bed.

It took a really long time to get hot water for the shower and there was a lot of noise from the bar below on Saturday evening.

Really friendly and accommodating proprietors. The breakfast is good value with plenty of choice, including fruit, yogurt and cereal. Central location but quiet, everything you need is close by.
