Haus am Turm is a boutique hotel located in the center of old town Sterzing. This comfortable oasis is beautifully decorated and offers amenities -- like a rooftop deck, sauna, bathrobes and free coffee -- that are typically not found in other hotels at this price. The rooms are spacious & minimally outfitted (no TVs!), with well-appointed bathrooms and strong WiFi (not often the case in old brick buildings!) The breakfast was excellent. It combined a well-stocked buffet with made-to-order eggs.

The location was perfect. The facilities amazing. We had a beautiful view. We could hear the cowbells from the hillside meadow. Bedding: mattress, pillow, sheets were top quality and so comfortable. Wonderful breakfast & dinner at the on-site restaurant. One of our favorite stays on our month-long journey through Italy & Austria.

Not a thing

The best stay experience we have had. It felt like to coming home but coming home to the most beautifully designed home that has thought of every detail. The natural light, natural materials, the spa and the wonderful slow breakfast were just what we needed after a few days hiking in the mountains. The clock tower and pedestrian strip on the doorstep and mountains from the balcony. Unreal.

Nil - perfect !

This hotel is well beyond exceptional and this is a judgment from a high standard. Every little detail is though of. The room is stunning, clean and spacious. We didn’t want to leave the hotel as it was so enjoyable and the breakfast is a great selection with beautiful setting. Although I wish there was aircon as I love cool rooms, it’s not really needed as the room is well regulated even in the summer heat. Will definitely come back if I come back to Vipiteno/Sterzing.

A large, beautifully furnished room with excellent bathroom and comfortable bed. Also comfortable seating and a balcony. There was a hot drink dispenser in the corridor which was a bonus. The roof terrace was great - if only it had been warm enough to sit up there! Fabulous breakfast.

The owners were very personable and extremely helpful, going above and beyond with their service. It was centrally located and they operated a restaurant where we dined for dinner. The special that day was fresh fish which we all ordered and loved. They had an excellent breakfast in the morning. I only wish we had longer to stay.

It was perfect.

Everything was high quality, from the bed linens to the windows to the clean, serene esthetics. The location is perfect and the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely choose this property again!

central location on lovely street . excellent very modern stylish room . very helpful and friendly staff. special mention for excellent service from young man who served us our delicious dinner. would highly recommend.

The location was right in the center of town.

Breakfast and service was no less than fantastic! The rooms were amazing with both furniture and design exquicite!

It was really too warm and there was no aircondition. I think this is the ONLY negative thing I can imagine about Haus Am Turm
