Great location, 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and less than 10 minutes from the station. Very friendly and welcoming staff who couldn't do more to accommodate all our requests. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything you may need. Lovely breakfast and dinner with a varied menu. The spa on the ground floor is well equipped and we found it quiet and rarely busy. As a guest you also get access to the free Active Pass, giving you free travel on Regional trains and buses as well as discounts on the cable cars. We will definitely be back to the area and stay at the hotel again!

Maybe a kettle in the room would be nice.

Perfectly located if you travel along the Dolomites corridor linking München (D) and Insbruck (A) with the Lake of Garda/Verona and Modena (I). We stayed more than one night. Sterzing-Vipiteno has a great offer of variated food, lots of open air activities and last but not least, a very nice and convenient pubblic pool with also whirpools, saunas and kids areas.

the balcony lights tunr on automatically after the sunset. They are remotelly operated by the hotel managment and the guest cannot turn them off.

We really loved Hotel RossKopf. It was a beautiful hotel, where you can relax and recoup. We were upgraded to a superior double on arrival - it was amazing the beds were the comfiest we have stayed in and the view of the mountains from the room were spectacular!!! I wasn't very well unfprtuantely whilst there- but nothing was too much for the staff. They brought us room service from the restaurant - the food is delicious and fresh. The staff were very accommodating and caring. Breakfast for great too! Beautiful place and would definitely stay again, thank you!

Nothing - we liked everything!

We had a balcony room at the front of the hotel and the view of the surrounding mountains was spectacular. Just a stone's throw away front the delightful centre of Vipiteno (Sterzing). However, the Old town seems to be a well kept secret as all the accent is on the "neue Stadt." A bonus was the quality of the food in the restaurant.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

We had rented a car in Verona and drove straight to the hotel. No narrow side streets and close off the toll road. Walked into the village in about 5-10 minutes. The town is very picturesque and 10 miles from the Austrian border. Only stayed one night but wish we had more time to do the cable car up the mountain. The included breakfast was quite good with a lot of choices.

We stayed here on our way out and on our way back. Good location with an easy walk to the old town. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was very good, especially the ravioli. Very knowledgeable re a gluten free diet. We would definitely stay here again

Restaurant and servers were the best so helpfull specially Greta she always find a solution for everything / owner of the hotel serve us a coctail at the chalet (top of the mountain) spa was good too

Bathroom and bed was no good

Wonderful location and view. Great breakfast and wellness facilities. The parking is right in front of the hotel.

In the morning around 9 am we came back to our room from breakfast to see the cleaning staff cleaning the room even though we were leaving that morning. I am not sure if the room got cleaned again after we left. Perhaps this was just a miscommunication between reception and cleaning.

Fantastic stay at hotel Rosskopf. Fast , friendly check in and we were given a free room upgrade which was a nice touch. Wellness are was nice and clean and not busy. Restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast. Staff were all really nice .

Great rooms are towards the main road, With windows open road noise was not comfortable, A room table fab to fan in room would have all solved the problem But the staff was excellent and owners where excellent , Just fan would solve the issues
