great location, great room with a view of the ocean, tennis court, parking

the restaurant very expensive and was too formal with lots of rules at breakfast waiters with bow ties and suits -quite stuffy the mini bar was expensive 2.50 euro for a small bottle of water and they advised guests were not allowed to but their own water Also be aware if you order an omelette at breakfast they charge you 18 euro even though breakfast is included the bikes were uncomfortable and you had to pay for them and 15 euros yo have a game of tennis for an hour otherwise a nice hotel

Beautiful grounds and fantastic beach with safe, shallow, crystal clear water .Very well maintained gardens and eating areas .Staff were very attentive. Very peaceful and relaxed . Great breakfast , snack lunches and salads available and an interesting dinner menu . Obviously a lot of fish . Fantastic pudding selection .Good beach service with comfortable sun loungers and towels provided .We did a lovely boat trip from the marina and saw the coastline from the sea . Just the two of us on the trip with a guide . We stopped to swim in isolated bays . I would recommend this .

Nothing about the property . It was lovely . Villasimius is a small town and we visited all the shops in one evening . There is a dusty unmade road leading up to the hotel and it was a long walk to the town . The marina is walkable and had a few restaurants. It is an unspoilt area with little development which is lovely but even with a car we were unable to find any towns to wander around so the emphasis of the holiday had to be very beach focused . I think we were expecting some old Italian villages with little streets and squares for a coffee or an aperitif.The beach is very relaxed so no water sports available . Overall though we loved the holiday and the beach was fabulous , the nicest in the area .

The hotel is beautiful. My first impression is colorful and alot of art everywhere. I liked to walk around and enjoy their arts. My room has a balcony at a corner with sea and mountain view. I am really happy with my balcony. The bed is very comfortable but there are no facilities and material in the room to make myself a cup of tea nor coffee. No snacks but only a few bottles of water in the fridge. Room was cleaned everyday. There are shampoo , shower gel and body lotion provided in the bathroom with Sardinian fragrant. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10:30am. For me it's basic but enough. The waiters and waitress work hard to keep everyone happy and efficient. Somedays we can sit inside, someday we can only sit outside. Facilities is limited. A small pool with 2 levels and the pool sunbed area is small. It has a nice, cozy garden full of nice plants. I was there in Octorber so there are not so many flowers . I believed that in April, May , June, July will be alot more flowers blossoming. There are alot of sunbeds in every corner in the garden on the grass with a very nice view of the beach and sea. I love the long soft sand beach right in front of the hotel. The sunsets is super there. One thing is that guests cannot order any food nor drinks on the beach which is the first time for me... Unfortunately, 3 boat excursions which I booked were all cancelled due to bad weather during my time. Abit dissapointing because it is a special trip for me. Half of my trip had not so good weather. A place like this, there is not much to do when the weather is bad. I tried to book other inland tours but no success. The hotel is walking distance to town and other beaches. If you are not a walker, you can always take a taxi. It costs 15 euros one way to town or to another beach. I went to Porto Giunco, a nice cozy smaller beach on the other side which is not far from Stella Maris.

Attitude of 1 staff at the reception. She does not give me a welcome feeling, arrogant and impatient. But Valeria, Martina and Maximo are great. Warm, welcome, helpful. Patience. I appreciate them alot.

Staff was pleasant and food was good. Beach clean and location excellent, good proximity to marina which is why we were there.

Everything was good except being charged for waters which I would think is standard for a hotel to provide, at least for the initial days. For a four star hotel, I was surprised at those charges. Also, we had a major problem with ants in our room for the entire stay. It didn't seem to phase the staff when we mentioned the problem. Nothing offered as an apology for this issue which was unacceptable for a property of this caliber.

The most important that the hotel has a private beach. And this is in a bay which is a destinaton for excursion boats and yachts - it looks so amazing. The garden is beautiful the hotel is well organized and maintained. Rooms are well equipped and clean, you can enjoy your breakfast and dinner with a view on the sea. The staff is friendly. Many of the guests are returning.

It is not something I did not like but maybe good to know. The hotel is at a quite location - if you want to go to the village for dinner or shopping you either walk a half an hour or call a cab or bike.

The fact that was located in very green garden and right at the beach. Very quiet area which was perfect for our long weekend trip.

Breakfast was lovely but staff forgot few times our order which was annoying and we end up one morning without eggs and coffee, another morning without cappuccino- small things but sometimes those little things make you stay more enjoyable Also SPA and wellness could offer some treatments , not only massages - quite poor selection.

A dream hotel, absolutely perfect. I enjoyed every second there. The sea view from the balcony was breathtaking. I really hope to return to this perfect hotel! The hotel staff is very professional and charming. I especially received excellent service from the receptionist Serena and the breakfast waiter Frederic. Thank you very much to everyone!

Perfect location on an idyllic beach and the hotel was intimate, friendly and professional staff. Lovely atmosphere and a perfect place for us to enjoy.

great property, and perfect beachfront. amazing views from all sides of the hotel. we had a mountain view which was amazing to wake up to and see the sunrise behind the peaks. we rented bikes one day and went all over - into the town, to the marina, and to a nearby winery. the breakfast was great. the staff was great. for those complaining about seaweed at the beach like, it’s a beach. if you want a sanitized environment- stay inside. it is natural. you can just go out past the seaweed if it’s really that much of an issue. but it isn’t.
