Great location, near the beautiful beach. Convenient two-bedroom suite with kitchenette - great for families! Nice and helpful staff.

We stayed there twice (in the same suite!), a year ago and very recently. The stove in the kitchenette wasn't working properly both times. Still managed to cook some fritattas there. :)

One of the reason I chose this hotel was (of course) location. 2 mins away from the beach can’t compare with anything else! and price of course. the price was excellent, and even though the place doesn’t have pool, restaurant inside or mini bar, it still was pretty sweet and cozy. Despite being outdated, the room had everything you might need, which also included TV, bedside tables, lamps, coffee machine with fridge and even table with chairs on the balcony! Staff was friendly too.

first and most upsetting was that parking was all sold out and even though it was said that we do not need to block it in advance- we could not get a spot. however, we found a meter of the same price outside of the hotel after a little hustle. Also, hotel is charging extra for amenities everyday, that include wi-if, coffee bags and safe, which is surprising as usually it is included in the price, but they didn’t even have safe in our room! I asked for it at the reception, but apparently we had to wait for a special person to come and bring it in the morning, which seemed like extra hustle. Overall hotel seemed a little outdated, and would look so much better after it!

You need to look at what you value and the location and staff is it! The hotel lobby is neat and clean. The location is excellent. Close to the beach.. 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel is located in an area where I felt safe to walk alone anytime of the day or night. Its near the zoo and always people around. The bed is double bed which is all there is and that was fine since its just me. All the staff are very nice. The room has show gel, shampoo, conditioner in the shower and its a good size containers. The sink has good size hand wash and lotion. That lotion is wonderful. The room has a small refrigerator and supplies trial size dish washing liquid. The balcony has a table and two chairs to look out the street side of the neighborhood. There is a ABC store 2 minutes away. There are 4-5 food trucks right outside the front entrance along the alley way. All of them good. Be expected to pay at least $20 per person. Most take cards to purchase the meal. They also have beach chairs for you to use at the beach. There is a ice machine on the first floor. The shower faucet gives great flow and pressure. I good shower is important. I loved it!

Limited outlets. The TV has only local channels. Air conditioner mildly worked. I just had it off. It made the room feel humid and musty. There is no heat/heater in the room. I am told their facilites do not use heat. Housekeeping is done every 4th day which I am shocked because trash piles up I am surprised no roach or rodent problem. The staff do say if you need towels just to ask, so that helps.

I loved the rooftop access, the convenience of the covered parking garage, and how close the hotel was to the beach, downtown attractions, and other local spots. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming each morning, always greeting me with a smile. When my travel plans unexpectedly changed, they were especially accommodating and went out of their way to ensure I felt supported and comfortable during the transition

One opportunity, I wish I would have been told about the amenities the hotel offered when I first checked in. Also, the room I stayed in had a smell like beach towels had been left on the floor wet. But I was upgraded to a much nicer room, which I appreciated. Overall, great stay.

The location is great! Very close to Kuhio Beach which has a great tidal pool. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The fact that I tried cancelling several times and did not get anyone to give the ok for a free cancel, the property wanted to charge me full price on cancellation. I had reserved this property as a mistake. The beds were too small I was told I was getting a king or two queen beds but they looked more like singles very uncomfortable…other than that it was good the front desk and the cleaning people were very good.

Surprisingly pleasant and much better hotel than what you would expect in this price range. (Thank you very much for upgrading my room! 😉) Everything is very close like the beautiful beaches, ABC Stores, bars, the bus stop from where you can get to every major attraction. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended hotel if you want to save some money but still want a good place to stay. Spend your money on attractions and experiences instead!

Nothing major. Wouldn't be fair to have expectation for services that you can only get in a higher class hotel.

Only few minutes to walk to the famous Waikiki Beach. Room was Equipped with small kitchenette including microwave oven and coffee machine. Short walk to the bus stop ideal to come or go to the airport. I suggest line 20 to the airport. For arrivals line 20 or 42. Several activities are offered in local business shops also offered from the apps are recommended. Every Friday you will find a news journal in cabinet on the streets with specials and offers around Oahu. “Oahu-this week” is the name of the journal. Note that there is no direct beach view but partly ocean view. From the roof terrace.

I love the location of EWA. I have stayed here many times before. Balcony upgrade via booking.com was a great deal. Beds were so comfortable. Staff really friendly.

Ancient phones in room did not work. May as well get rid of them. Corners and crevices, under beds etc need good cleaning and vacuum. Shower curtain with metal rod fell off when I put my wet towel on it. If it had hit a child, it could have been a severe injury. No newspapers provided even though it clearly states on their website that this is included in their amenity fee. Didn't bother asking about the free museum tickets!

The EWA Hotel is an exceptional value! The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! When you turned on the water faucet you had hot water right away! You are not paying for a fancy lobby and the furnishings are on par with more expensive hotels. The staff was very friendly! The location is a half block from the Honolulu Zoo and just a short walk to the beach! Kapiolani regional park is right at the zoo area and it is huge. It is worth taking a stroll there and visiting on of many Banyan trees there! Washer and Dryers are available at a reasonable price!

This is a small hotel with one elevator. At times it required patience since the cleaning staff used it to get to the different floors and it took a little bit of extra time. There is really not much to complain about! I had a very enjoyable stay!
