Location was great. Central to base out of for all activities. Good breakfast and the staff were friendly.

This area of the boardwalk where the hotel is located seemed to attract more homeless people and/or persons with substance issues than other areas we saw. While the variety of people certainly makes it interesting, it can be uneasy for families etc who are trying to vacation. No issues at the actual hotel though.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location is amazing. The decor was good and the beds very good.

If you can walk, you can ignore this: The accessible room that I got did not have a seat in the shower, (us wheelchair users don't take showers in our wheelchairs, nor do we want to sit in the floor of the shower. The beds were placed in the room such that I could not access the balcony unless I moved a bed. There is only one elevator and a very popular restaurant on the roof. When the restaurant was busy, it was difficult to use the elevator. I once had to wait for 4 different times, because each time the doors opened, it was too crowded to accommodate me in a wheelchair.

Excellent location if beach access is your priority. Easy and friendly check in / check out process. We also paid for a couple nights of on site parking and the valet process was also seamless. Amazing rooftop bar and restaurant, we visited the rooftop both during the day for brunch and in the evening for a more lounge dinner and drinks setting - amazing sunset and beach views.

While the location and staff were five star, the facilities were a bit dated. We've stayed here years ago and wanted to come back as the location is too good to pass up, and the rooms seem to have been frozen in time. Maybe intentional and not a bad thing, just something to keep in mind as the price is quite premium (justified by the location).

Great hotel for couples and friends. Great breakfast, friendly staff, nice room: comfortable beds and shower.

We have two small children (4 and 7) and we’re missing a pool. The location can be great right on Venice beach/ muscle beach, but not very suitable for young children. Not a lot of child friendly restaurants nearby although Great White across the hotel worked well for our family. The hotel has a great rooftop bar but after 8pm it’s not allowed for below audience 21 as they serve alcohol. So in summary great hotel for couple / friends getaway but would not recommend this hotel for families with younger children. Nearby Santa Monica is a more child friendlier option!

It was in a fantastic position , close to the seafront . Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

I did not like the bathroom I our room. It gave little privacy as it had a weird hanging , sliding door with gaps at each side. I noticed our friends room had a proper closing door in his room. It was very off putting. The room itself was nice and modern though. Also if me or my partner got up in the night to use the bathroom, the automatic light came on, waking the other person up. This was so annoying, and spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay

Location and staff were just really great. Nice room and all was great!

We came for the stay because of the rooftop hangout but it was closed because of Xmas so we missed that aspect. Understandable though

The location is amazing. Front desk staff were attentive and helpful. The extras available from the lobby (bikes, basketballs, towels, etc.) are a nice touch. We didn’t need the extras in the room, but it was nice to know that was all there if needed. Valet was always speedy.

The guest elevator was broken while we were there but we were allowed to use the service elevator so that was good. It was in the garage and a little slow, but not too bad. We tried to get a drink at the rooftop bar at 7:20 pm on Saturday night but were turned away because they were closed. That turned out ok also because we crossed the street to the Gjusta Grocer which was like visiting David’s Rose Apothecary in Schitt’s Creek. So cute!

The room was very nice....larger than we anticipated. Everything was spotless. So close to beach for a nice walk or lunch.

The 6th floor outdoor dining looked chill, but then when we finally got a seat, I had to go to the bar to order. We got chips and guac..my husband preferred a salsa dip, Instead of bringing or just adding the dip, we were charged for an entire order again.. The sunset view was beautiful and blankets are provided for the chill in the air. We were disappointed that food was lacking and service was not there.

Location was great for Venice Beach and a short drive from LAX. Room was huge, clean and comfortable. Bed was massive and much needed after an overnight flight. Staff were all very helpful in person, however were useless when contacted to discuss our booking via phone or email.

We contacted the property to try to advise them of our late arrival due to our flight to the US being cancelled, and we heard nothing from them - we messaged via the Booking app, emailed them directly. I also contacted them by phone - they couldn’t find our two night booking when we spoke and I was disconnected before we were able to inform them of the change of plans.

Spacious, very comfortable well equiped, nice, clean rooms; super helpfull staff, special thanks to Alejandra at the reception!). Bed is large, pillows are great. Beach towels provided

We stayed in expensive beacfront suit, because we wanted to enjoy the ocean view. Well, the beachfront suit looks at a parking lot and the ugly, dirty backyards of the beach front line shops. Strange people doing strange thing in parking lot. Really disappointing to see this instead of the ocean. Especially from 1st floor! (Which is for some reason numbered as 3xx) And there are no shades or black-out curtains on the window only ses-through sheer curtain! So after dark for sure everyone can see in your room and the lamp post in the parking lot is reflecting straight to your bed. (Maybe in higher floor it is better, and partial side views to the oceans have actually a nicer view) Breakfrast is nice but the place is super tiny so hard to find a table to sit.
