I liked the people that worked at the front desk especially the female with long black hair that went above and beyond for us . Her customer service was great and when a unexpected event happened she handled it to it's full potential thanks again for making our stay feel like home .

The cleaning ladies are always talking in Spanish and have a lot to say about each room they clean as if it's not the job they get paid to do but also speaking Spanish and only Spanish may seem rude and may make people wonder if they are gossiping or if it's work related . Other than that it was perfect . And thank you for all the help staff of the lexen hotel .

Front desk at night was not very friendly. Cleaning did not leave any soap or cups when they cleaned

We got a two bedroom room. Rooms were divided by a door which made it convenient for us since he had kids with us. Each room had its own shower and sitting area.

We had to ask for them to switch our rooms. The first room that they gave us smelled like urine. It looked like the staff tried to ventilate the area( windows open) before we arrived but the smell was unbearable. She staff was great at offering a room switch. Everything after that ran smoothly.

Close to the Hollywood Bowl (10min walk)

No gym, no breakfast, pay for parking, no security at night for front door.

The Lexen is a great place to stay to be close to the attractions in Hollywood. Walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl (5 mins) and Hollywood Blvd. The staff is friendly and helpful (although occasionally a little hard to find). The rooms are clean and comfortable. Good a/c, fridge, hot water.

As many people mention, the rooms can be a little noisy from traffic on Highland Blvd, especially the rooms facing the street, but I wouldn't prevent that from staying here again. Ask for room in the back.

The property was in the perfect location for us. We were going to the Hollywood Bowl for a concert and we wanted to be able to walk. The staff was friendly, I was nervous about the parking but it was easy, you just left your keys and they shuffled the cars around. The rooms were clean and the shower was great. Bring single dollars for the vending machine on the 2nd floor for water.

My only complaint would be that the beds are really low.

Fantastic location, a ten minute maximum walk from Hollywood Blvd and the closest Metro station. The room itself is what I would call “budget chic”. You’d have no idea it was a cheaper option if you didn’t look closely. It had the feel of an expensive hotel, without the price tag and without the “hoity toity” if you know what I mean. The young lady at the reception desk was so wonderful as well.

The carpet was a little sticky, and the door to bathroom didn’t fit the doorframe properly but honestly it wasn’t even a dealbreaker. If anything it made it feel more home-ey.

Great location, less than 3 miles to Universal Studios, a market & quick bite places 1/2 a block away, we felt safe, the people at the desk were nice & helpful, the mini-fridge was actually cold. We were very pleased & the best part was we had 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms which was perfect for a family vacation.

The couch was lumpy & it would've been nice to have a pillow top on the beds Otherwise, it was great & we'd definitely stay here again

Fantastic location near Hollywood Bowl, Universal Studios. Smaller hotel 26 rooms. Clean and modern, hotel is colorful and our room was modernly equipped. Bed was great, AC was great, bathroom and shower were very nice. Nice refrigerator which had the temp control on the front and worked very well. Samsung TV with access to HDMI and USB ports on side. Also very close to iconic Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. We dined at Mels Diner on Sunset which is ALWAYS a must! Every kind of food/restaurant/taco truck you can think of covering all budgets!

Parking is tight. Double parking required and you have to leave your keys with the desk if you are parked behind another vehicle. They were however very responsive at front desk when needed. No microwave.

The location and staff were super nice and friendly. I even needed help after checking out and they went above and beyond to help me with my needs.

No black out curtain in room for morning sun. Bed is super low and a bit hard. The lobby was nice but there wasn’t any beverages there. Like coffee ect. Parking is a little tight.
