I loved the old Hollywood vibe, loved How comfortable and incredibly clean the beds are. Rooms are not big but have everything you need! Loved the historic details of the property and how well mantained this building is!! loved the staff too!!

Good location for getting to Hollywood Boulevard. The hotel was clean and felt safe, despite the neighbourhood (the immediate surrounding streets weren't too bad, but Hollywood Bvd feels a little dodgy before you hit the very touristy part). The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a fridge.

It felt like a lot of money for what you get, but I suppose that's LA. I also smelt pot a couple of times, and seeing as the windows were shut, I only assume this was coming from the corridor / another room. I understand this was not the staff's fault, but it might be good to remind guests of the non-smoking rule, and that it means smoking anything.

Great location. Very nice room with a comfortable bed. Table, chairs, fridge and safe are part of the room. There's sufficient space to store your belongings. Staff is very helpful. I have stayed there a couple of times and it has always been a pleasant experience.

No parking for hotel guests. You can use a public parking round the corner but it's quite expensive.

The staff were super friendly and helpful when I had questions. It was predominantly quiet and close enough to the walk of fame to make it easily accessible, but far enough away to not have to deal with people as soon as I stepped out the door. In saying this, there’s a supermarket a block away and a great little bodega across the street which makes getting food simple enough :)

I guess the only thing I didn’t like was that there was no microwave and for the very first time EVER, I needed an ironing board and there wasn’t one… in saying that however, there is a laundry service here I could have reached out to if I wasn’t being lazy. lol.

Considering I chose a very cheap hotel, I'm very pleased with this accommodation. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The front desk was super helpful, going beyond the service I've experienced at a 5-star hotel concierge. This is truly one of those rare gems that exceeds the price you pay in value! Saving money on the hotel allowed us to eat at a very nice French restaurant nearby which the front desk helped us find after our first option was closed. If we come to Hollywood for anything again, but especially for the Pantages which is so conveniently nearby, we will stay again!

The front desk isn't available all night so make sure you call ahead and confirm they'll be there when you are! I think they also have something set up for late-night check-ins, but call and ask. The TV in our room was also very small and awkwardly placed. That's not very important to us, but if it is to you then consider that.

Stopped at this hotel for 5 days and really enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect — close to Hollywood Blvd and the subway station. The hotel is small (which I like), but the room was bigger than expected. It also has a microwave and laundry, which is super convenient. The staff is very helpful and always tries to make your stay great. Special shoutout to Andres at the front desk in the evenings — super cool guy who seems to have a solution for everything. In short, if I ever go back to LA, this will be my first choice for sure.

No elevator. If you’re on the third floor (like I was) — good luck, haha.

Great location, couple of blocks from main tourist areas. Clean. Comfortable mattress. Shower -nice hot water and good water pressure. Available ice water near the office for filling up drink bottle. Price was reasonable but we needed to make allowances for the dated decor and small room. Small, flat screen TV. Small, flat screen TV. It was like going to visit nan and grandpa. But that was ok with us. Felt cosy.

No lift! That was a negative! Very challenging walking up and down the stairs with luggage and shopping and with no support. No pool!! That was a negative as well. In 40 degree daily heat (that's in the shade) we would have loved a pool. No phone in the room so couldn't contact office without the use of your own mobile phone.. which we couldn't do as I had not international roaming for USA. One chair in the room although there were two people in the room. Would have liked an information pack when we arrived.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They actually installed a new tv because the remote of the other one didn't work. The hotel is very good located, Hollywood Boulevard just 1 block away, bus stops are right around the corner and there are supermarkets, restaurants and a CVS in 1 min. walking distance. My room was very spacious with a bright bathroom, a fridge and a table for work. The whole room was very clean.

The walls might be a bit thin and you can here the other guests moving. But I don't mind the noises. So actually nothing negative from my point of view.

Very handy to everything, surprisingly quiet given how close it is to Hollywood boulevard. The staff are friendly, helpful and kind. Rooms have everything you need and a cosy enough. Good price, would definitely stay here again. Don’t let any bad reviews throw you off, this place is fantastic for those on a budget.

It appears I was charged for a room clean, I would have thought this would be included in the room charge. Especially considering I stayed 11 nights and only requested one room clean.

The front desk service and cleaning staff are very friendly, especially the only man at the front desk.He is very kind and warm. The place is also very quiet and not noisy. It’s just a street away from the Starlight Land. Whether you take public transportation or eat, it‘s very convenient nearby.

There will be many homeless people nearby, especially at night. Although they are not aggressive, too many still feel dangerous ⚠️ Don‘t go out alone. Pay attention to go home early or go home directly by Uber. Safety first.
