Good location for what I needed for 2 nights. The ground floor hall way was under some flooring construction but not too inconvenient. Some of the flooring was not secure although you could walk on it. (I'm sure it is fixed now..) The front desk help was very helpful checking in and checking out. As a former "Detroiter" I was familiar with the surrounding area of 8 mile and Meyers, and know that over many years, many things have changed, as in most major city metro areas everywhere in the U.S.

Bathroom fixtures will need to be upgraded by next year sometime. Nothing major, touch up paint in spots, and maybe a new hair dryer? and shower head.

I slept real good. The shower felt good

They don't have the breakfast in the morning. Bums in the lobby.It was trash bags in the hallways. The heating doesn't work.

Didn't make it in time for the breakfast but the stay was descent. Smell was okay except for the lobby and elevator plus the floor level was a descent okay.

The people hanging out in the lobby and the children on the third floor just threw me off a bit. Staff was not up to my expectations, she was very lazy and irritated when something didn't work.

My only complaint is the people next door and across the hall. They had children that they yelled at until 3 or so in the morning.Didn't like that
