Overall the experience was pleasant, with professional staff and a very clean room upon entry. The breakfast was passable, and they allowed our family to smoke at an area with a table and chairs outside.

These are specific things that I wish the hotel industry overall would improve, not just Hawthorne Suites. Please stop using florescent/bright white LED lights in your rooms. It causes migraines for many people with sensitivity (including myself) and the soft/warm LED lights are the same price. We basically sat in the dark during our stay with the bathroom light on for this reason. I wish that there had been actual meat on the hot breakfast bar rather than just sausage gravy, and perhaps some boiled eggs for alternative protein sources. There were three juice options on the machine, but only apple was in operation. The ice machine was not working periodically - just make sure that maintenance on these things is a priority.

I liked how clean the rooms were. The breakfast was great as well.

Didn't like that we didn't receive a key til our 2nd night there. It should be a way that there is still a way to get in our room without having to disturb the front desk worker. maybe look into being able to access your room through an app like I've seen before you phone let's you have access to ur room. I noticed the house keepers didn't come and tidy the garbage or anything while we stayed there luckily we didn't have much..

The property was in a good area about fifteen minutes from our destination and it was very quiet

Th property was good but the area itself there was nothing to do but stay in the room and go get something to eat.

Our room was a bit small w/ the bathroom right next to bed…just not a lot of space :(.

Hotel cleanliness and location were superb. Breakfast was great, and the price was competitive

Building construction seems cheap, and walls don't reduce sound.

I liked that it was clean and spacious. That the room had no carpet and two bathrooms. Most of all the sliding doors it gives it a up to date look. I read the reviews so I wasn’t sure what I was going to walk into. Most of all I didn’t have to go buy a bed in a bag just to be comfortable and get rest after my long journey. 😁

The dirty carpet in the hallways gives off a smell once you get off the elevator. So once you open the room your surprise total difference.

I had the best sleep....Decided to stay another night.....can't get a better sleep than that.

The coffee could have been stronger...but everything else was great....Staff very helpful and friendly....location was close to resteraunts.....gas stations and Walmart.....No matter where you are traveling to if you need to stop in St. Robert, for any reason or just need to rest your head before arriving at your fianl destination....Hawthorn Suites has the best sleep you will ever get...if you don't believe me try it for yourself....

The friendliness of the staff and their eagerness to assist and make sure you walk away happy. I had some mix up with my reservations that could have gone either way but Abbhi (hope I got his name right) was very helpful and patient, we ended up getting an upgrade which was really nice. Thank you.

They didn't have a full length mirror in any is the rooms. My sheets also had a black mark on it. It was washed but the mark was visible and should have been changed. When I ironed in the room, it tripped the breaker

Staff was unprofessional and rude at check in. Room had crumbs all over the floor & hair in the tub. But besides that we checked in at 3pm and left at 11pm. The beds are the most comfy I've ever slept in at a hotel! And the suite was awesome besides the dirtiness. Wish I could've stayed longer to use the amenities!

Staff was rude. Cleaning services need to do better.
