We travelled with our 2 teens (15 and 12 yo) and shared 1 large room with 2 queensize beds. The room and bathroom were spacious with regards to NY-standards and was very clean and modern. Every day a change of bath linnen, cleaning of the room and new amenities (shampoo etc). The staff is very friendly, our requests (eg. extra toilet paper) were complied almost immediately (within 15 mins). We stayed in April: restaurant and rooftop were closed but there was free coffee in the lobby which was great. Location to us was excellent: 15 mins walk from Times Square, close to restaurant row (a lot of very nice restaurants!) and also 1 street away from the Intrepid/Circle Line cruises and thus the Hudson river. 20 mins walk (alongside Hudson river) to Hudson yards/the Vessel. For the price we payed (via Booking.com) I would say this was an excellent value-for-money hotel.

The window covering in the room are a little bit old and could be renewed. Also, the deposit (100 USD/day) is still blocked, however not charged, on our VISA. We got confirmation from the hotel that they released it, so we're checking with VISA for the moment but I'm confident it'll be OK. UPDATE: 1 month after return to Belgium the deposit was released on our VISA, so everything OK.

Everything except the receptionist.

The receptionist was rude. He didn't bother to make eye contact when interacting with me. My plan was to upgrade my room, but his lack of attention stopped me from even mentioning it. A person like that shouldn't be the face of a business.

Cool vibe. Convenient location. Rooms were nice with great views. Beds were very comfortable. For the price it was well worth it, compared to other more expensive stays in NYC. The staff in the morning when we checked out were SUPER nice and bubbly.

At arrival and check in, valets and bellhops were VERY aggressive. I reached into my trunk to take my bag out and the valet literally scolded me and told me I couldn’t touch my own bag. I understand that they may be instructed to serve the hotel guests and all, but if I choose to handle my own bag, that’s my decision. Felt like I was a child being scolded. Front desk at check in was also not super welcoming. Had a MUCH better experience the morning we checked out with very pleasant staff. Also was disappointing that the trash cans in one of the rooms still had trash in them when we arrived. Only one washcloth in the bathroom for a room with 2 people. Overall still a good experience and would stay there again, but definitely some moments that were not the best.

Location is nice Room is clean I got an upgrade with some extra money and it was amazing view on Hudson river

I booked it because of the roof top, it is closed until September, better call them if you are coming for the roof top.

Beautiful room with large bathtub was very relaxing after a big walking day in NYC. Very close to the cruise terminal within walking distance. There is a lovely Irish pub just down the street with amazing pub meals

For some reason you couldn't take the elevator to the rooftop bar without checking in at reception even with a room card. The elevator attendants response was this is New York City, which I found very arrogant and unnecessary. The drink prices at the rooftop bar were excessive and no discount for guests.

Hotel location was great! If you need to drive into the city this location was as easy as it gets! I am from the Midwest and was driving a minivan. It was located near several car dealerships and a Fed Ex distributions center - overall felt safe not super busy with people on the street. Queen beds in NYC is not easy to find in this price range either. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. We stayed Sunday-Wednesday so the street noise was minimal but I could see how it could get noisy on the weekends.

Was traveling with 4 people total in one room. The bathroom was not as private as I would have liked. A heavy frosted glass wall and sliding door wasn’t much separation but we made it work. The handle for the glass door needed fixed and the staff was accommodating. Did have to keep asking for towels even though we had turn down service daily.

The size of the room was unexpectedly large....particularly by New York standards. The view was fantastic. The location was perfect for us. We were walking distance from Times Square and just around the corner from our cruise ship. Couldn't have been better

There were no amenities available. No restaurant, nowhere to grab a coffee or breakfast, or have a cocktail. A rooftop bar and seating area would have been nice, but was not in place when we were staying at the hotel. I was told that they were in the process of setting these services up, so perhaps this will no longer be an issue.

Loved the room - beds were SO comfortable! Bathroom was huge. View from our room and our family's second rooms were fantastic even though they were on different sides of the building! Staff - David especially. Even the maids were sweet and friendly. Location was great, with lots of public transport options. Any (minor issues/questions) we encountered after the first room was checked in were swiftly addressed by David, who handled everything with professionalism and a positive attitude. His attentiveness and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set him apart. It was evident that he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in creating memorable experiences for everyone. I wish every company had a David!!

No breakfast at the hotel unfortunately! But lots of bakeries and cafes (with great coffee) nearby within 2-5 minute walk. In the middle of winter (understandably) the balcony/roof terrace was closed.

From the time we arrived to check in David and team ensured a very warm welcome and granted our request for a kettle to our room for the duration of our stay to make a 'cup of tea' as we liked... David allocated us a room in a quiet floor of the hotel (9th) that had amazing views of the Manhattan skyline with a number of windows...just fabulous .... overall our stay was greatly enhanced by the amazing friendly helpful staff of this hotel...even on check out day we were offered to stay a little longer as we waited to travel to the airport...these little touches mean the world when you are on vacation to another land...hope all the staff are looked after really well as they so deserve...👏👏👏

To be expected from the city that never sleeps the windows could be more soundproof or maybe heavy curtains.... if renovation were to take place in time....as it could be noisy in the early morning ...
