Clean hotel in a great location. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Bed was comfortable. 5 head power shower in the bathroom was a nice addition.

Room 1004 needs a makeover and as others have said, the carpets needs replacing. TV was out of order and the electrical outlet in the bathroom had tripped out it seems as it was working previously. AC is noisy, so could not keep this on at night which meant that room was warm at night. Room needs a mirror by the table.

Lovely large room, great location and staff friendly.

We were getting married which was known to the hotel and it was disappointing that no extra effort was made to make it special. Also the furniture in the room is tired and needs updating. You also need a big mirror above the dressing table to get ready when there are two of you. One in the bathroom is not enough. One in closet is not suitable.

Central location, staff helping (wouldn't do harm if they smiled also...), bed comfortable. The room is spacious, and it consists of a bedroom and a living room, although the living room is more of an antré with a sofa and a TV set.

A/C loud, no programs on TV, carpets are outdated (need replacement).

This place is very well positioned for a good value stay in Manhattan, not far from Central Park, Carnegie Hall etc. Got something of a room upgrade as I was with a child.

Can't blame them, but the elevators died over the weekend of stay, so we had to get up down from the 10th, even with our luggage. No apologies, or offers of help, no compensation (not even a candy bar!). Also not convinced how clean the carpets were - at best, very well used! As others say, the place could do with some some TLC.

It wasn't a great location. Cute and convenient. He needs to be updated but overall baby nice and comfortable. Girl at front desk was very nice. Helpful! Will definitely stay there again. Would definitely recommend this to other people walking distance to many bars and convenience stores to get anything that you might have forgotten. Had a great time

Water pressure was a little hard. Some people might not like I enjoyed it. Kind of massage me at the same time.. nothing really wrong with the place except it needs updating on curtains and maybe a little paint in some areas and the bathroom mirror was a little damaged but overall enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely be going back. And besides that, great price. Small room but again for the price will go back.

The staff is great. Remembered them from previous stay.

There was no bathtub (which needed) and the room was half the size of the room I had before which I wasn’t anticipating the change no little kitchen area, and I was in the front, which was very noisy

Very quiet and comfortable location. Good value for money. Has all the basics. Housekeeping staff were very friendly.

Reception staff can be a bit more helpful. We did not know until our 4th day staying there that you can get ice. We only checked in and were given our room cards. There was no appropriate explanation on how WiFi works etc.

First things first. The showers are amazing at this hotel. The water pressure is the best. It's like you're in a car wash, lol. 2nd time here, same experience. Also, the rooms are spacious, typically a suite with a separate seating area. Beds are comfortable. Staff are pleasant. Location is superb. Just steps from Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and 5th Avenue

The decor is really dated. The room carpets and furniture are due for replacement. It's an old building so the corridors are narrow and the elevator is tiny. Not much they can do about that, but just be aware. The rooms don't have much of a view. No fridge, coffee machine or microwaves in the rooms...assuming again because it's an old building the electric can't support it. But no coffeemaker?? There's no lounge area except for a couple of benches in the lobby, so just know this is a place to sleep, and no more.

The hotel is situated in Midtown Manhattan making many places easy to reach. Even with a window to the street the noise was not too loud. The reception is functioning 24 hours a day with friendly helpful staff. There is a small shop directly opposite of the reception selling drinks, snacks, and other useful things. The room was clean, sufficiently big. The air-conditioning worked well.

New York is very expensive, and so us this hotel - although there were many more expensive alternatives. The rooms are a bit dated, nothing fancy, no fridge. There is a restaurant at the ground floor, but no breakfast is offered.

Staff are solid with the exception of Tatyana at the front desk who was EXCELLENT! Always cheerful and helpful. I had a problem with a cancelled booking (by Booking.com) without my knowledge. Others I asked for help from were polite but Tatyana went the extra mile with support on storing bags, thoughtful ideas of how to rebook at the lowest price even when the hotel appeared to be booked out. She was always smiling and super helpful. A star employee. Please promote that woman! The gentlemen offering bellman services were also helpful.

I was in two different rooms and they were both quite dark. Would be good if there was a business centre or a quiet comfortable place to work.
