The room was spacious and comfortable. It was a fair price for the Westchester county location and a basic breakfast was included. The fitness room was nice and so were the staff. We were able to get a late checkout and also left the bags until 5 pm while we went to lunch. There is a nice Italian restaurant a 5 min walk up the hill.

There isn’t a safe in the room. And by no fault of the property but it is good to know that the distance from the train station was a 15 min walk uphill. Take an Uber.

Great comfortable stay. Solid breakfast, easy parking and very helpful staff. This was our second stay and would stay again. Was great especially after a long flight with 3 small children. Thank you!

Only very minor comment was the TV didn't work properly but I think this is an issue with the app Marriott use as have had this issue with other Marriott hotels. If we stayed longer than 1 night we would have got it sorted by Maintenance I'm sure. Everything else was great

It was a wonderful stay at the Springhill Suites hotel in Tuckahoe. Bedrooms are gorgeous and the hotel itself looks beautiful in an otherwise unimpressive block. The hot breakfast is plentiful and top notch (I got there early). Pro tip: if you like hot eggs with your meal make sure to get them last as the toaster takes upwards of 4 minutes to lightly brown a piece of bread. The lighting in the room is ample. The floors are tile and wood and the mattress is sealed (all excellent bed bug prevention). The door is strong and slams with a solid thud.

On the downside, as of this writing, the hotel does not accept mobile payments with Apple pay/Google pay/Samsung pay so make sure to bring your physical credit card. Then there is a questionable initial "surcharge" for potential purchases the hotel assumes you make during your stay.  This is bizarre in my view. The sales person at the hotel says I'll get it back after checkout. And that very solid door you have in your room? Well others have it too. If you're a light sleeper you're going to hear them slam shut for every room within walking distance. Pro tip: put the sign on your door that you are sleeping unless you want to be woken up at 8am. Housekeeping came to the door twice presumably to clean the room.

The location is 1.2 miles from my niece's house, so it was convenient. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and spacious, the bathroom clean. We also found a brewery a very short walk away which was a pleasant way to spend an evening.

This morning there was a Christian megachurch program on the TVs in the dining area, which I found a bit odd.

Conveniently located in tuckahoe. Friendly reception and serving staff. Good breakfast.

The linen kept slipping off in the night making it a trifle uncomfortable. Rooms serviced only every other day. It would be nice to have the beds made up daily

The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient and a bonus of free hot drinks 24/7. The room was a good size.

The decor was a little tired and there was an intense chemical smell in the corridors.

Breakfast was great but never any bananas —5 days…

Wished toilet area had separate door. Heat was a little irregular :thermostat Had to be turned off to keep heat down. Had one abbreviated cleaning and no clean towels were left. Took two requests to receive new towels.

Welcoming location and friendly. Gym small but pleasant and parking was good. Otherwise the hotel was close to gas stations, food, coffee shop and the supermarket along with a 22 minute drive to and from Westchester tennis 👍

Breakfast was a hit or miss. I watch employees grab the food and clean up as people still making attempt to get last minute food at 9:50. Yes clearly aware breakfast is 7-10. Maybe they should change it to 6-10:30 or 7:00-10:30. Don’t clean up around the mom's with small kids. Also, they should have a food attendant so they know when items are out. As for my room, the entrance door jam, we have to push or pull hard to make sure it’s closed, along with under the pull out sofa was not clean. P.s l will return to see if breakfast will get a 5 star review. It's just a thing l do.

We liked the cleanliness and the personalized setup. Plenty of towels and really nice bed sheets and body wash, specifically.

The breakfast ended a little early for our schedule and we understand it's not something easily changeable but if breakfast is included in our purchase perhaps opening up the time slot would benefit a larger group of people enjoying the stay.

Hotel is in a great location walkable to the MetroNorth line. Plenty of parking. Rooms are roomy with plenty of space to sit and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is included. Staff was very helpful.

It's outside the city but still a relatively expensive place to stay.
