grandson found unopened condoms under sofa when visiting me in my room and house keeping disturbed me before I was out of bed even though I had the do not disturb sign hanging on door knob

Great location just off the highway. Spacious, clean room. Heat/AC worked great. People working there were lovely. The breakfast was the typical hotel simple breakfast with the little pre-made cheese omelets (I find unappealing but that’s me) and lots of hot and cold options.

Our room had two queen beds. One side of each bed was completely sunken - the room needed new mattresses. I almost rolled out! Very very uncomfortable. I slept most of the night in the center of one bed and my husband did the same with the other bed. By doing that we were able to get to sleep.

The property was clean. The room smelled fresh. Coffee and tea were available at all times in the lobby. The staff members at the front desk were attentive and pleasant. We felt safe lodging at this hotel; the surrounding area is great with gas stations, restaurants, and a huge mall.

The breakfast foods were a bit salty for my taste, especially the Western omelette and apple sausage patties. I reserved three rooms for a girls’ getaway and it was made under one reservation. The website says $250 for incidentals. I was under the impression that since the rooms were under one reservation that I would be charged for $250. I was charged $150 per room. I should have been informed prior to my visit. The hotel’s website states that there would be a complimentary 5-mile shuttle bus for guests. The desk clerk informed me that there used to be a shuttle before COVID-19. Incorrect information puts a bad taste in the mouths of those expecting whatever the site states.

Breakfast was well coordinated and set up. DIY waffles and various egg and meat options made it worthwhile. Good staff helping guests and keeping the area clean and well stocked. All staff, especially front desk, were very nice and professional. Rooms were spacious and clean, good value for the price. The room hold was reasonable considering use of third party to book. Always coffee, tea, cookies available in the afternoon if you get to them in time. Location was easy to find and relatively quiet and safe.

The breakfast protein choices changed daily, sometimes some better than others. Maybe add another regular coffee stand at breakfast because regular coffee runs out quickly and staff constantly having to replace. Nice lounge, no drinks or food but the diner is close, just down the hill, maybe make a deal with them for guests. Small stuff, nothing to not like at this location.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay. Wish more cereal was out so colud have couple bowls of same kind.

That i had cash on me to pay bill but had wait till trip was done to pay. They won't let you pay at check in. Which ment had to worry about carrying money around in ny city. That not all rooms have microwaves. That you needed permission to use pool. Should beable to have access with key card.

Hotel was really beautiful and pretty clean. Breakfast was pretty good--the only thing I wished for was cheddar cheese to put on my eggs!

I know it's the law in Westchester, but I really didn't like the fact that an attendant had to be with me in the pool area. It made me uncomfortable.

Very friendly staff and very nice room. I stayed in two different rooms over my stays and definitely both had great beds and was very comfortable. The rooms were very big and always clean. The orange juice was wonderful but I do love scrambled egg so enjoyed the one day they had scrambled egg instead of omelette. I liked the porridge which I do not usually enjoy and the laundry service was very cheap.

This comment is not directly about the property. During the first few days of our stay there was a group, perhaps a large family in the pool area that were quite rambunctious even allowing individuals who clearly did not have a booked room into the area. I travel with small children (1yr old & 3yr old) so this raised an eyebrow about general hotel safety. I will also say that I've stayed in this hotel more than once now and will plan to in the future because I like the hotel, the staff are very welcoming and attentive and the location is great when traveling from upstate NY to Manhattan area.

Breakfast room and hotel room were always clean. Maid did an excellent job cleaning our room.

Pool closed at 7 pm. We were hoping to swim and use the hot tub each evening, but weren’t able to because of early closing in evenings. Normally pools at the Hampton Inn’s I’ve stayed at don’t close until 9 pm or later. Staff were extremely friendly. Our toilet wasn’t flushing, upon checkin. We reported the problem in the morning, and when we returned in the evening the issue had been resolved.

Please bear in mind my only reason for needing this hotel was to attend the viewing and the service for a family member. Front desk was straightforward in advising why early check in was not available (hotel had been sold out the night before) but arranged for my use of available facilities to change clothes before attending the wake. Also assured me I did not have to race back to hold the room as a had a late arrival already listed.

Once again I was there for a death in the family and not really to critique a hotel. I had minimal needs and this hotel more than met them. I would suggest they think about enlarging the dining area for their continental breakfast. I did have a slight problem finding seating. Their food was quite good, otherwise.
