This hotel has an incredible rustic vibe and is really a neighbourhood gem. The staff is just amazing and so lovely and kind. Also a huge plus for adding the ping pong table in the lobby, people are having a great time with it (even with the chandelier in the way!)

WiFi quality is just unacceptable for the level of the hotel. In today's day and age, when internet is so accessible and cheap - to not be able to do work without being continuously disconnected from the network - just a big gap. One more thing from this visit - despite us clearly having 3 adults in the room - the sofa bed wasn't turned into a bed and we had to ask multiple times

Concierge was kind to offer different options for places to eat. Lenny was phenomenal in helping us understand easy walking directions to local coffee shops and attractions.

I requested coffee pots for each room PRIOR TO arrival. However, no coffee pots were in our rooms. We did not complain on the arrival, as we decided to go to a local coffee shop for coffee. But it would have been nice to have those coffee pots for early morning brew. The restaurant service was a little lacking. It was not very busy for a Saturday night, and we weren't very demanding. In fact, 2 of us wanted dessert. The waiter never asked if they wanted dessert---THEY had to ask HIM.

Room was spacious but lacked a mini fridge, coffee pot and tea. And the ice maker was not working on my floor.

Location is really great, one block from 5th Av and close to 2 subway stations, allowing to quickly reach all areas in the city. The hotel is not in the crowded Times Sq area and Theater district, but sufficiently close for a short walk there. Would repeat this hotel in the future. NYC was really crowded during new year's period, but it didn'f feel too much due to the location of the hotel. Rooms and hotel in general was very good and comfortable, staff was nice and attentive as well.

Long waiting for elevators sometimes due to one of them being out of order. Room rates are expensive, but not different from other New York hotels.

From the moment we walked in all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming! Apparently the doorman is even TikTok famous! The customer service and amenities were outstanding. They upgraded our room for a small fee and gave us early check-in and we felt like kings. The bed was so comfortable I actually felt like I was sleeping at home! The location was perfect and we were steps from the shops on 5th Ave. and a short walk to Grand Central Station. It was just me and my teen daughter and we felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was right smack in the middle of every thing. Plus, it’s a stone thrown away from St. Patrick’s, which was very convenient for me. Hats off to the cleaning lady, whoever she was, in making our room thoroughly clean daily. Most specifically the bathroom, so very clean every time we return from roaming the city.

The front desk staff makes you feel unwelcome. But maybe it was just me. Their lack of hospitality was compensated more than enough by the crew at Berk’s Bar and the man by the main door. Berk’s Bar staff made us feel so at home.

This location was perfect for our needs, in a very nice neighborhood. All the staff were helpful, especially Lenny the doorman, who greeted us every time we returned and made sure we had a car to the airport on time. Our room was interior (quiet!), clean, with a well-laid out bathroom (a shelf for all our toiletries).

Only complain is the bed - uncomfortable pillows, and this trend of no sheet but only a comforter on top makes for either hot or cold nights.

We have stayed at the Omni Berkshire place several times. We are never dissappointed. The staff is excellent very engaging and kind. The concierge services are also very accomodating. The rooms are large and clean. The bathrooms are clean and the products are excellent. You really can't beat the location!

The Bathrooms could use a bit of updating giving more room for personal products, like toiletry bags and cosmetics. The one major flaw is that the toilet paper needs to be upgraded. I would recommend at least a 2 ply product.
