The staff are very good and always useful, the property design and structure is excellent, the bar/ seafood restaurant are excellent, Breakfast is good. cleanness is excellent (in spite of some guests not respecting that). service is -in general- very prompt.

Furniture, bed, mattress, fridge, etc.. is old, so are linen and towels (although clean and does the job). bathroom amenities are less than expected in such a hotel category. DONT expect comfort or luxury as it is very basic. The really bad side of the hotel is the jet ski noise (from outsiders), at early morning and around sunset, that really make me hesitant to go there again! one last comment, I didn't like some guests not respecting car parking protocols and manners!

Friendly staff, nice pool and picturesque beach are big pros on top of the location. The rooms are a bit dated now, however, and could use an update. Due to the open nature of the corridors there was a lot of noise coming through the main door from the distant highways - until very late at night… Also their environmental policies on bathroom essentials are a step too far - we ran out of toilet tissue in the middle of the night just because there was no spare given to us by the staff during the room cleaning - you have to call and “they will be happy to give it to you” - less than ideal.

The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of international and local options. The quality of food was excellent, and the staff were attentive and friendly. pool bar was a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink or snack. The service was prompt, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff at Novotel Bahrain were warm and welcoming. They were helpful and responsive to our needs, making our stay more convenient. The Novotel Bahrain offers a great combination of comfort, amenities, and service.

Price per night is quite high even in the summer

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel welcomed and valued. The check-in process was seamless, and they even provided a refreshing welcome drink that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The accommodations were outstanding—clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. My room had a breathtaking view, and the attention to detail was evident, from the plush bedding to the complimentary toiletries. I cannot recommend this resort enough! It’s the perfect getaway for couples, families, or solo travelers.!

The breakfast was wonderful. Staff members were great. We really enjoyed the tranquil environment. The beach and pool were very nice. The kids play area was very convenient for us.

Our couch was broken when we arrived which didn’t bother us but is worth noting. Also, The last two nights in our room there was a heavy smoker in the room above or next to us and our room was full of smoke. This made me uncomfortable especially because I had my one year old in the room with me and prefer him not to be around second hand smoke.

The room was as advertised . It was perfect . The terrace overlooking the sea was fabulous . Access to the beach and pool couldn't be easier and the food on offer in the Mediterranean restaurant was great; both dinner buffet and breakfast . I would go again .

The cleaning of the pool area could be improved as the pool had garbage near the waterfall for over 18 hours . A glass , cigarette packages , butts, and a beer tin. I reported it to the pool bar but was ignored . There were also cigarette butts under the bridge that partitions the children's pool. Also beware if you book a beach front room you could be kept awake by the extremely loud partying on the beach ; there was a beach party at the time I stayed . Thank heaven I booked a sea view .

Check in and check out was very simple and quick All staff are friendly, polite and always willing to help Hotel location is good and away from the built-up areas Private beach area was clean and safe Room was big and when asked to be cleaned, it was completed straight away. Used room service and the standard of food was good. Used kids play area and was found to be clean and safe. Value for money compared to other hotels in the area. 2nd time I have stayed at the hotel and will stay again.

Music blasting all night from the bar attached to the hotel. Guests should be informed of possible noise disturbance during the weekend. Not ideal when you have a 6-month baby.

We travel with kids, and all area allowed to smoke, so for us not comfortable when people smoke close to my kids in swimming pool or on the beach. Should be place dedicated for smokers. Rooms much more clean then our previoys visit. I am glad of that. But could be more clean-below the beds condon boxes...

Lighting in bathroom was dim/dull. Brighter bathroom lighting would be good. Pressure of water in shower was low. Would prefer more pressure. Mini Bar fridge was small. When checking in, I was not advised on the 'deposit' required that allows you to charge against the room. This was confusing.

It was a great little retreat with a beach and a a perfect pool. Kids loved it. I enjoyed it too.

If I could change anything it would be an upgrade to the room. It seemed a little bare and dark. Freshen up the upholstery and wall colours would help.
