The staff at reception were just lovely. I went to check out and asked if I could leave my bags as my flight was later in the evening. They immediately offered me a late check out. If going to a concert at the Al Dana amphitheatre, this hotel is the best option, as it is 5 mins away, and only 40 mins from the airport. The hotel has a beautiful sea view and some amazing restaurants and the prices aren't as high as most hotels. My room with balcony was spacious and the bathroom quite large. Everything was super clean and very comfy beds. Loved the huge morroccan lamps at the entrance.

If I could rate this hotel more than 10 stars, I definitely would! The place is extremely elegant, perfect for relaxation and spending quality time with your family. The entire staff, without exception, are very friendly, respectful, and make you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious, healthy, and caters to all tastes. All facilities are available and of top-notch quality. I would like to thank Sofitel for this wonderful hotel and their professional staff. I had an amazing experience at the Club Millesime Lounge. From the moment I walked in, everything was smooth, relaxing, and luxurious. The atmosphere was quiet and elegant, the seating was super comfortable, and the food and drink selection exceeded my expectations. It was the perfect place to unwind while the weather outside it so hot. Special thanks to Angelika for her outstanding service! She was warm, attentive, and truly made me feel welcome. Her professionalism and kindness added a personal touch to the whole experience. Thank you, Angelika, for going above and beyond!

I have no comment about the resort. I liked it very much. The area is very nice and away from public noise and not even far from the city. Only 15 - 20 min. Everything you need is close as well.

I didn't like the valet service. Some of the people who are assigned to do this job, you can not trust them with your car. I have seen them driving guests' cars so crazy and careless. They drive so fast and they don't care about the speed bumps. I talked to someone and asked him why are you driving a guest car so crazy but he didn't give me justification. I didn't give them my car from the beginning and during the entire stay and I didn't regret that. My sense was right from the beginning. I really hope that the hotel take action on this and monitor the behavior of the people who are assigned for this job.

The place was so beautiful. The beach and pool was was so nice. The food choices were in plenty. The bars and the restaurants were exceptional. The sea facing room had a great view of the waters and the property including the pool..

There was a delay in the response by the room service. The staff needs to be more proactive and should be able to respond fast to the customers request. In general the staff was unable to provide information as they were not well informed. They lack professional training and mentoring. This area should be given more focus. Bathroom lacked basic assessories, like toothbrush kits. Only one bathrobe was provided for a room for two persons.

It was exceptional stay I arrived 10:30 am on Friday morning the were so kind to offer me non fee early check in as my first stay . They also offer me discounted breakfast price which I am happy with since the breakfast venue was so delicious and varied options . I also appreciate they allowed for late check out . The beach was clean with tan beds and shades The room was spacious and comfortable.

I don’t have much the only thing I would say is .. the coffee offered at the room was not good and I wish they put some glasses for the water .

The room was well arranged with a very big balcony looking out to the Gulf. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a great space. I appreciate the level of cleanliness in all areas. The gym and spa were way above average with a good selection of equipment to work all areas and the masseuse knew how to give a proper yoga massage. The grounds were nice to walk around and the reception area was lively with great entertainment when I was there. I really like Sofitel's treatment; all of the staff spoke to you like people with personalities, not just rote smiles and responses. I was advised by email that there would be a wedding reception one night of my stay, but they placed me as far away as possible and by the time I settled in to sleep it was already over. The breakfast was really very good with a lot of options for all types of dietary considerations. I go to Bahrain a couple of times a year and had a different goto hotel, but now that has changed.

The meals I had outside of breakfast could have been better. It was difficult to put together a vegan friendly meal and the outcomes were not filling or satisfying, nor did the substitutions and compensations seem near equal to the price paid, which was always the price of the meat and dairy versions.

The private beach, the breathtaking seaview, the ambiance of the hotel and decor of the room was exceptional plus the super friendly staff. This hotel is truly a resort that caters for everything you need with several food choices and 24/7 options. Spa Thalassotherapy session was a highlight and truly recommended. YaMaz the Greek restaurant does great food but also location especially in the evening stunning and the Arabic restaurant was great. Sunset from there also stunning! Was travelling solo and their Head Concierge Adil truly went out of his way to make me feel welcomed throughout my stay.

The location is a bit far out from the centre but it is the perfect place for relaxation. The only annoying thing - which was not the Hotel’s choice - is that the Government does not allow swimming in the sea after sunset, which is truly disappointing as that is the best time to swim.

The breakfast was held in the ballroom due Christmas celebration, but it was disappointing. The tablecloths were dirty and stained, the service was quite slow and I received my coffee only after finishing my meal, which felt unjustified given the cost of my stay. Additionally, the smell of fried food lingered all the way to the breakfast area. I also had to celebrate Christmas Eve at a different hotel as the staff members were not well-informed about the hotel's holiday events and details. The indoor pool is exclusively for adults and can be accessed by purchasing a SPA package, making it off-limits for children.

Location

Some patio furniture is showing signs of wear and tear and also the jacuzzi surrounds. There was also a couple of patio tiles that were blown, creating a trip hazard. This was reported. Furthermore, the hand railing around the patio area was covered in bird droppings…not nice. There was a problem with the pool chemical balance which turned the water pea soup green - again this discouraged using the pool for a day, although the pool team were working hard to resolve this issue.
