Hiltons are always very good....the reception staff were exceptional. The door staff were courteous and always opened the door with a smile. The only negative was some of the customers who thought it was ok to get in the lift direct from being in the pool, and not drying themselves down so leaving big puddles in the lift. Perhaps a member of staff should be ensuring they do not leave the pool area before towelling themselves dry. Unfortunately some people either don't have common sense or just don't care......not the hotels fault.

My report refers to my room, my experience only! Location: super, between Chow Kit and Medan Tuanku Monorail Station. Many good food shops in the area, walking distance to Petrol Towers 30 min. Reception service very polite and helpful, breakast offers a big variety of asian and continental foods. Coffee machine works properly and coffee tastes well. Eggs on order. Roomcleaning service also was excellent, everything was clean, fresh water and coffee sticks provided, absolutely no complaints. I also appreciated thick walls, no noise from my neighbours (which can be a serious problem in asia/india). Rooftop terrace offers a great view to KL Tower, Mederka and Petronas, esp. after sunset. Happy hour Tiger from the tap is highly recomended! I checked also one emergency staircase (fire, earthquake,...) close to my room. It was a lot of light, well indicated and absolutely nothing in the way like garbage or cleaning equipment of housekeeping 👍.

There was one, but really serious problem: Building has 25 levels and 3 elevators, but just 2 were working...and very slowly (maybe there is a speed limit for elevators in Malaysia??🤔). At breakfast and checkout time you really waste a lot of lifetime just waiting for a lift! And it's not fun to take sraircase if your room is in 16th level.

My experience at the Hilton Garden Inn-South in Kuala Lumpur was decent overall. The hotel maintains the high standards typical of the Hilton brand, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location is highly convenient, making it easy to explore the city’s attractions. In particular, the monorail station is just a 2-3 minute walk away, which makes getting around the city very easy. The rooftop of the hotel offers a magnificent view of both the Petronas Towers and the KL Tower, which is a wonderful bonus. For the given budget, the Hilton Garden Inn provides a comfortable stay with great value, especially considering its location and amenities.

one area that could use some improvement is the breakfast offerings. While the quality of the food was good, there were very limited options available for vegetarians. The service however was good, and the staff were courteous and professional.

I LOVED my stay. Maybe it's because I have never stayed at a hotel before but the bed was super comfortable. I keep thinking about the bed, pillows and bedding. Slept for 4hrs everyday due to our tight schedule and still had quality sleep. The water pressure is good. 10/10. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Very close to Chowkit Monorail which we used everyday. I loved the view from my room. Merdeka 118 is visible and shines at night. Would highly recommend to my fellow Africans.

The food at the rooftop restaurant was meh. It was our last option since we arrived late and all restaurants were closed.

The service from staffs was extremely friendly.

The parking in the hotel require valvet parking for RM 15. I feel worry when going to check in as I have to park my car beside the road before proceed for the valvet parking.

Very central location close to public transport. Enjoyed the rooftop restaurant, pool, and views. The room was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Nice friendly staff who were always willing to help. Restaurant offers room service as well. The cleaning staff who made up the rooms each day were very friendly as well.

The lifts in the building are extremely slow, and one often waits long to get a lift. I saw guests fighting over a space in the lift. The majority of the food for breakfast at the restaurant was mostly Asian style food. Would have been nice to have more alternative options as well. It is not the hotel's fault....but there are many guests coming in and out on the floors at all hours of the day and night. I would often be awoken by guests in the early hours of the morning in the hallway outside my room. This was not nice at all.

Very budget-friendly hotel with great value for money! The room was clean and well-maintained, even though it was a bit on the smaller side. The rooftop pool was a real highlight, offering a nice distant view of the Petronas Twin Towers—perfect for unwinding after a day out. One of the best things about this place is the location. It’s within walking distance to the Chow Kit LRT station, which makes traveling from KL Sentral super convenient. The check-in process was smooth and fast. The duty manager (sorry, I can't remember his name) was extremely helpful and friendly. He provided us with important local information and even recommended some car hire apps, which was very useful. I’ll definitely come and stay again!

Excellent rooftop pool and bar, good quality and spacious room. Staying here for 4 days made our stay in Kuala Lumpur and was lovely to come back to. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to chow kit monorail and easy to get round. Our air conditioning failed and they quickly sent up a maintenance man. And then moved us to an equivalent room when the fix didn’t last and a new part was required. All handled extremely quickly and professionally. And a complimentary drink at the bar. Turning a negative into a positive.

Nothing really - but would note the breakfast is weighed to Indian and Chinese tastes. Not so much for westerners, but plenty still there to choose from.

I got a room with a view of the Petronas Twin Towers, which were beautiful. The coin laundry on floor six was extremely useful. The staff were very quick to check in and were very helpful. I was on the eleventh floor and it was quiet and peaceful compared to other hotels in KL maybe due to absense of large highways near the hotel. The ergonomic chair and desk were also appreciated. The safe was easy to use and worked well. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft, which I prefer.

When I went to the pool, it was overcrowded. The pool is quite small relative to the number of guests in the building. The hotel is a few minutes walk away from Chow Kit Monorail, but the walk between the hotel and this monorail is through a gritty area. In my opinion, it is perfectly safe, but those considering staying here should keep in mind that the hotel is located in a gritty area. Another point is that there didn't seem to be a proper pick up and drop off area for Grab, although a makeshift one seemed to form outside the Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur North hotel.
