If you have a late evening arrival or early morning flight, this is definitely the hotel for you. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations and the shuttle to the airport seamless (the travel time is less than 10 minutes.) Make sure to reserve a spot on the shuttle when you check in though the bus is very large. From the Taipei Main Station, there is a stop on the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport MRT called "Airport Hotel" and from there, its a quick walk to the Novotel. Beyond the hotel (in the direction away from Taipei) there is a Taoyuan Metro stop for an Outlet Mall - it's extensive and interesting to walk around if you have extra time.

We arrived around 1:30 well before the 4:00 p.m. check- in time. Because of a construction project in the lobby, there was some confusion among the staff members about where we could wait until our room was ready. Once everything was sorted out, they held our luggage, we went for lunch, and our luggage was in our room when we returned after 4 p.m. It all worked out.

The room exceeded our expectations with clean, comfortable beds that ensured a great night's sleep. The complimentary shuttle service was exceptionally convenient - always punctual and dropped us infront of the terminal gate making our travel seamless. What really stood out was the outstanding staff who were incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly throughout our stay. The overall cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations made this a wonderful experience, and we'd definitely consider staying here again for future trips.

While the pool itself was nice and well-maintained, it had more of a fitness/gym pool atmosphere rather than the recreational resort-style pool we were hoping for. We were looking forward to a more relaxing poolside experience where we could unwind with drinks, but the setup wasn't really designed for that kind of leisure activity. It's a quality facility, just not quite what we had envisioned for our stay.

I did day-use 8am to 8pm during a long layover. Hotel is not walking distance from the terminal - but the shuttle bus is efficient, or you can catch the train one stop if you miss the half hour pickup. Staff and room was exactly what you would expect from this type of hotel and I really needed the sleep and showers. Train station is super close to the hotel if you want to go into the city.

Day-use was the same price as overnight (even though it was for a shorter time and they could take two bookings on the same room), so it depends on your timing whether it is worthwhile. For me it was and I factored it into the price of my airfare. Didn't seem to be anything else in the vicinity (food/shops) so it's hotel food or airport food only. Now that I've seen the location it would probably be just as easy to take the train a couple of stops towards the city and pay off-airport rates elsewhere. Day-use was only able to be booked via messaging, and at one point I was told it would only be 8am-4pm. That would not have been worth the price for me.

Close to the airport and they provide a free shuttle that starts at 4am. I had a lot of luggage and they helped me with this from arrival at the hotel to leaving on the shuttle. They provide a nice breakfast box, on request as I had to leave at 5am. The room was clean and spacious. staff all very helpful. There were scales in the room which helped as I had to reorganise a couple of bags for my long journey.

A bit on the pricier side but you are paying for the location, free shuttle and breakfast. If I'd had a normal time flight I don't think I would have chosen this one, as many similar hotels much cheaper a bit further away. Surcharge for room service which although not unexpected was not advertised on their menu.

Following instructions that we found on the web, and after our late night flight arrival at the Tapei's Taoyuan airport my husband and I found our way to the free trains attached to the airport. We were apprehensive about navigating to the hotel but we learned that most airport instructions included English. Anytime we had a question, there were booths and airport personnel who graciously assisted us. After the 3 minute train ride, we were dropped off at a stop that was clearly marked Hyatt Regency, We were surprised of the cleanliness and lack of people. We did the breakfast buffet the next day which was amazing. Lots of food and numerous varieties. The staff helped us find a taxi that provided transportation to Keelung Taiwan. Although we didn't speak the same language as the driver, the Hyatt Regency staff had provided him with sufficient hand-written instructions. Tapei and the hotel was a surprising delight!

Proximity to the airport was great! The pick-up and drop-off shuttle services were very handy - they arrive and depart promptly on time which is nice. The hotel is a short 5-10 min drive to/from Taipei Taoyuan airport. Staff at the check-in and checkout desks were very courteous, welcoming and professional even late at night and early morning - truly service from the heart! Room was very clean and modern. Bed was super comfy and plenty of complimentary bottled water available. Amenities like toothbrush are not laid out in the bathroom in order to be more environmentally-friendly, but are really available if you ask at reception. The shower gel and shampoo in the shower smell so amazing!

The free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was great! Bit of a walk to the bus stop but only a short 5-10 minute ride to the hotel made the late night landing into Taiwan very manageable with a baby! Late check in was simple and easy. Room was clean where baby could explore the room. We had a room facing the airport so it was nice to see a few planes. It's also right next to the MRT so it was easy to transit to the Taiwan HSR even with luggage and baby. Also had a netflix & youtube option on the TV which was great to entertain baby at times.

Walls are thin and you can hear some planes take off / land so if you're a light sleeper it might be an issue, but we were so tired from transitting it didn't matter much as it didnt wake the baby.

We had an early flight so we liked that we could wake up close to the airport and that the hotel provides a free shuttle bus. The gym, pool, sauna, steam room were a super bonus. We decided to try the dinner buffet too and that was the best meal we had in all of Taiwan, without question. Unfortunately we had to rush through breakfast - luckily we were still pretty full from the dinner! We also loved the fluffy pillows although we found the bed a little hard. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has an early flight or late arrival.

The location is convenient for an overnight stay. Facilities are good, but the club on the 9th floor looks more like a canteen than a lounge. We enjoyed dinner at Cantonese restaurant and drinks at the lounge at the hotel lobby. Our suite is comfy, although to get the wc to work its functions, we have to hold the remote instead of being able to press the buttons where they were (attached to the wall). The two remotes for the tv don't work unless after multiple pressing on the same buttons. Breakfast spread looks good but won't say the same for taste. We had the omelette, which is alright, but the mini sausages were "rubbery" ...... the transfer to the airport was on time, overall it's a nice stay... P.S. forgot to ask her name, but the female staff at the lounge who served us was very bubbly and courteous... thanks to her cheerful greetings at the door (while we were heading to the restroom after dinner), we decided to have a few drinks before we called in the night. Thanks to her welcome, we had a nice evening of chat over drinks.

The shuttle was really useful and is pretty frequent, the sauna, steam room, gym and pool were brilliant for me taking a one day stopover on the London Melbourne journey... excellent choice of cuisines and staff were uniformly courteous helpful and always there if you needed them.

As someone not completely familiar with the airport it took me a while to find the shuttle bus stop, possibly my fault not realising that the bus bay numbers continued round the corner. I'm happy to eat anything but a menu card in the rooms would be a good idea but again not a deal breaker.
