The entire hotel staff were superb. Rui Palace Aquarelle really brought their 'A' Team to launch this hotel. Everyone from front gate security, to front desk staff, housekeeping, luggage assistants, to bar and restaurant teams were just excellent. Extremely helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable, prompt and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. It's the first time that I've been greeted at the front door by the Front desk staff who then took me to check in and then proceeded to check me in. Seems like a small thing, but it really set the tone for the rest of the stay. The rooms are modern, ultra clean, comfortable light and bright. Very comfortable beds. Spacious room. I stayed in a junior suit with partial seaview. The partial view was of the road and some houses which I really liked as you got a flavour of the surroundings. My parents had a Seaview room and the view was stunning. Great to watch sunrise or sunset.. The facilities are great and truly caters for all ages. You have to be quick with booking a restaurant as they book up in a heartbeat. Download the Rui app and book your restaurants as soon as you can. Alternatively, try to get a no-show or cancellation booking by turning up early evening and see what's available. The only reason I didn't give this gorgeous hotel a 10 is because it really needs a few cabanas near the beach. These are great if you're celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or just want an elevated beach experience. Other than that. Great new hotel on a beautiful stretch of the beach, with great food, atmosphere, and facilities.

1. Front Desk staff must ensure that the communication flows amongst themselves 2. Never mislead a guest .... 3. Ensure local and international guest are treated equally 4. Ensure all instructions are clearly explained to each guest. 5. Never mislead a guest about upgrade, and then book a couple into a room with two small beds. If this arrangement cannot be avoided ensure it is clearly explained to guest. 6. Ensure the front desk staff clearly understand what exceptional customer service entails

The entertainment was really amazing, the entertainment staff is exceptionally talented and my number one reason to come back is to watch them perform. They’re the best. The dining staff are very professional and friendly as well and the food is really nice. Overall I had a great experience, Will definitely be coming back.

The mosquitoes were a bit of a nuisance, but only at night on the outside.

Beautifully hotel. Really well equipped with everything you neeed for a fun, all inclusive stay. The rooms are smart, modern and clean. I had a beach view room, whicj was also a view of the pool and entertainment centre. Fun hanging out on the balcony in the evening. Well stocked minibar (which is all inclusive). Great daytime and evening entertainment. The adult pool bar is lively and loads of fun. Beach is well kept and loads of sun loungers and umbrellas. This was my second visit and didn't disappoint.

Room service is a waste of time. The menu is limited and doesn't reflect the variety of food available in the buffet restaurant. Food from room service wasn't nice at all and doesn't come well presented. That was a let down. Restaurant food was so-so. However, I only ate at one restaurant and it wasn't anything to write home.about. i did enjoy the buffet restaurant food. Loads.of choice breakfast/lunch and dinner.

Beautiful property with modern decor and facilities.

It was great although for adults looking to party there is no club on property. There is however great nigh time entertainment.

Close to the airport. Availability of Jamaican National foods, authentic seasoning and tasty. Spaciousness within the facility. Staff helpfulness. Housekeeping. Number of restaurants Seating at the beach. I didn’t get to visit the pools. Drinks and food stations located throughout the property. Availability of room service. Updated showers and toilets. Balcony with drying rack. The list goes on, I was mostly pleased.

Staff to use food gloves when placing utensils on table or wait until guests arrive at the table due to flies and insects pitching on them before guests arrive. More fumigation of property and guests room as I had to eradicate a silver fish in my bathroom and another guest , my family member, stomped roaches. The roach issue was reported and addressed.

Overall the experience was good. The food choice at the buffet is commendable, even much better than the other Riu locations. The staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Great customer service was extended.

The dining options were reasonable. You can never go wrong with the buffet for any of your meals. The swim up bar staff & entertainment were interactive & always making sure everyone was having a good time.

I wish I was able to get more than one towel by the pool. If you opt for a lounger in the sun...the chair gets hot. It would be nice to have a towel to lay in the chair & one to dry off. This has never been an issue at any other resort. Lastly, the food at the restaurant near the pool area was great, it would be nice if they rotated btwn a few more selections.
