What did we love would be a better question! This resort had the friendliest, most accommodating staff I have ever encountered. The hotel, grounds, beach, views, restaurants were all beautiful and incredible views everywhere. Tons of things to do at the beach and off. The property is rather huge and we biked around. Amazing restaurants! Do not miss Delmare and Sugarmill. The food is delicious, the service impeccable and both restaurants are so beautiful, you could hold a wedding as is, no flowers required. Many pools included an Olympic size lap pool, swim up bar and in infinity pool over looking the ocean. I've stayed at the renowned Round Hill and Rock House in Negril but neither come close to touching Half Moon! We met many people who had been coming to Half moon for decades and I understand why.

Hurricane Beryl but that wasn't Half Moons fault. However, the staff and management took care of us with smiles and no sign of stress. We still were spoiled and given great food, drinks and service even through the days and nights we didn't have power. It was quite romantic actually!

One of the best resorts in the world! Classy, spacious (both in terms of property’s countless acres and large living space in villas and cottages staying right by the beach), lots of shade from huge tropical trees, beautiful landscape, impeccable service, world-class restaurants and bars (some by reservations), almost unlimited options for activities (besides swimming and water sports, golf, horseback riding lessons, picket-ball and tennis, yoga, running, gym, etc.), very friendly and relax atmosphere, multiple options to move around within the property (from walking, to free bicycles and golf-cars)… No wonder the Queen and Princes of England, JFK, Bush Sr., RLR, Elon Musk, and others stayed here, dome multiple times…

There is nothing we didn’t like… but it isn’t cheap. My advice though is to stay in the founder’s cove area, not in the new Eclipse zone. The beaches in Eclipse seemed to be inferior. However, one can hope between different areas with no problems, there are no restrictions

Some things were too pricey!

For starters, everything. It was an extraordinary experience at an incredible location -- the beauty is difficult to describe. I could not recommend the resort more highly.

Not much. Everything was great. The menus at the restaurants were not huge, but there was food for any type of eater. People had a tendency to leave their stuff on unattended pool-side chairs and cabanas all day, which cut down on access for others.

Beautiful property. Not crowded even if close to fully booked. Food generally good. Great breakfast buffett. Most staff were very friendly. Bikes on the property. North point restaurant for late afternoon drink and dinner was perfect.

Some staff could be more customer-oriented / friendlier, but that was a small minority. Food at Delmare was underwhelming. Some activities that were planned did not happen with no notice (e.g., horseback riding for kids at the beach)

We had a wonderful time. We visited in early May and were told that this was a less busy time - boy did it pay off! Shockingly easy access to all the restaurants, beach lounge chairs, pool, activities, etc. Incredibly attentive staff everywhere we went. Gorgeous views, we really enjoyed that instead of one large stretch of beach there were multiple different options with different vibes at each one/levels of privacy so you could bounce around and feel like you were having different experiences.

The view, the closeness to nearby shopping malls. Close to the airport. The views, staff was amazing , warm, welcoming.

The food was extremely overpriced. Although good, it was too expensive. I once ordered tea with fruits and it was $38 plus tax. We ate twice on the property , thankfully we had a car and ate outside the properly after that shocking bill. Also, if you’re celebrating a birthday, make sure to inform them, apparently, the cake that they provide for you isn’t complimentary. I had to pay $18

I can't say enough good things about this place. The property is so special and immaculately maintained with the most friendly and accommodating staff. The setting is outstanding, the beach was a stone's throw from our bungalow. There are active renovations but nothing that disrupted our stay. I always want to try new places but this is one of the few hotels I want to visit again. I visited with my partner and our 2 year old daughter, we had such a wonderful holiday.

Fantastic location and beautiful facilities. This place has everything you need to spend a divine holiday that you will remember for the rest of your life. I will greatly come back again.

The only point I would mention is the price of all services, everything has to be purchased, if you buy a holiday package you don’t have a full access to all restaurants.
