The hotel appears to have been newly renovated. The deluxe king room with the kitchenette was great. The staff were kind, helpful and protective. The hotel entrance is secured by a large door that is monitored by security 24/7. Rooftop pool is small but the view was nice and there is a bar. Breakfast was tasty although the selection is limited.

The WiFi connection was extremely unstable and barely worked. When I asked the front desk about the service, I was told that sometimes it doesn’t work properly.

Breakfast was good. Not many choices were available for meals.

Did not like the surrounding location. It is very noisy, dirty and polluted.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would visit this hotel again. They made me feel like I was at home.

The Sago Palm hotel exceeded my expectations in everyway. Located in the heart of every thing. Getting out and around was easy. I traveled alone and I felt safe when I went out. Lots of shops and restaurants around to sample the local delicacies and feel the true spirit of Jamaica. The staff at the hotel were all phenomenal! Great food that came piping hot! Clean and well maintained rooms and surroundings. I can't fault anything about this hotel. I am very happy that I chose to stay there and will return and proudly give my recommendations.

I love having a cup of tea during the day. Tea / coffee station in the room. Also a mini refrigerator would have been great to have. Bigger tea cups!

What truly set this small hotel apart was the staff. Their genuine kindness and eagerness to assist created an atmosphere of genuine care. They were always on hand to offer recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, ensuring that my experience in the area was nothing short of exceptional

I was in Ocho Rios for a 1 day business trip and booked Sago Palm due to the close proximity to where I needed to be. I was hoping for a clean, decent room. Sago Palm went well above that! The staff was professional and courteous. Checking in was a breeze. The room was clean and beautiful, I loved the tropical spa-like feel of the decor. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby and the food was delicious. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I will be returning to Ocho Rios with my family soon and I will be staying at Sago Palm!

Love the pool and the overall vibe of the place. Very upscale look. Bathroom was very modern and everything was clean. The bed was nice and soft and the room was modern. Great internet and Television. The food is great her and the staff goes above and beyond.

they cant help it but ocho rios seems to charge a lot of fees and taxes that add on to price. Not their fault.

The service and the food are very good, and the location is also great, and the place is nice and clean.

The bathroom is very beautiful, but the shower in room 310 needs to be fixed because I was standing in my bath water and I of to use my feet to sweep it away each time I take a shower.

I would give this place 10 stars! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms and property was very clean. The location is great ! I have zero complaints about this property beside the WiFi was a struggle.

WiFi was spotty

I have a medical problem if I have too much salt, your chefs went out of their way to be sure that I was able to enjoy all of my meals and not have to worry. That made our stay in Ocho Rios so much better. I would recommend the accommodations and the food to anyone.

I can't think of any improvement except possibly for an elevator.
