It was a beautiful old house in Atami on a hill. Our room was a really big and spacious apartment with a beautiful view of the city and harbour.

The staff seems disorganised and it was a bit of a difficult walk from the station with the bags. The room wasn't insulated so it was quite cold but fine with the airconditioner on.

Perfectly good for what it is. Host was very patient with a non-language speaker and was a lovely place to stay.

Feels like the room I was in was close to another family room as there was quite a bit of noise through the walls. However it quietened down by about 10pm.

property was clean and well looked after. location is good (note it is in a hilly area with stairs)

did not realize we would have to pay the 300yen per night for the outside bath, assumed that was included and had no choice to pay even when we said we wouldn’t use it. not sure if I just didn’t read that part when booking.

Onsen was very comfortable for a good price :) We visited this place at the begening of October during a working day And we was almoast alone. Very Calm And nice atmosphere.

Everything about this place was cute! I had a great time. I would highly recommend and plan to be back!

It was a little pricey, but I would say it was worth the price!

In overall, very Japanese home feeling, the open bath was great and the homie feeling from the living place exist

There is a lot of bugs and sometimes feel abit too old for the house and maybe its due to it being summer but a lot of spider webs too and sometimes might feel abit more on the unclean side

The check in was a bit difficult because you have to call the owner when you arrive and they don't speak English but we managed

The old house had a lot of Japanese style and character.
