From the start to end everything was perfect. The room view, the room size, the bathroom and the amenities, the cleanliness, the little cars in front of the door to inform you that cleaning is in process. The breakfast, the dinner, the chef thanking to customers for eating his food. I recommend the massage, seems expensive at first look but is is a marvelous experience. The F1 circuit just close and the museum in the same building are bringing a lot of enthusiasts, in the rest Gotemba shopping is bringing others. I can say that we felt spoiled and lucky to be there.

Fuji was hiding and not in the mood to be admired. ... Somehow i would have loved to have a shuttle to the lake Yamanakako, at sunrise and sunset as the hotel is quite secluded and for any trip you depend on taxi (20-30 minutes from Gotemba) or you need to rent a car. I guess that this service would only add more value to the customers experience.

The concept and attention to design detail was excellent and unique. The natural beauty of the surrounding area is exceptional. The views of Mt Fuji 🗻 surreal when it was visible. The racetrack and museum are sensational.

The staff and attitude at the gift store put a negative vibe to the overall experience. Guests should be able to access the viewing balcony. Museum access should be part of the hotel stay, not an additional charge. You would think that a major motorsport event like the Monoco F1 GP would have been accessible on the room television in a hotel of this concept and at a location such as this...???? Also you might acknowledge and consider the fact that Italian cuisine could possibly not be a suitable choice...

We had a wonderful stay at Fuji Speedway Hotel. Perfectly situated next to the iconic Fuji Speedway F1 track, the hotel immediately impresses with its spectacular foyer showcasing a rare collection of famous race cars — a unique blend of art and museum that sets the tone for the entire stay. The hotel’s Italian restaurant offers a solid selection of dishes, including a breakfast buffet. A highlight was the Caprese salad, made with local tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and strawberries — absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, featuring three wide beds, a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower, a cozy lounge area with a coffee machine and large TV, a huge walk-in wardrobe, and a lovely balcony with breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. We especially loved relaxing with drinks on the rooftop terrace while watching test racing on the track, and strolling through the cherry blossom-lined path to the grandstand to watch the cars up close. Overall, it was a memorable and highly enjoyable experience — we would love to return!

The only drawback for us was getting to the hotel from Haneda airport. We arrived in Japan in the evening and it seemed the easiest option was the transfer which cost us north of $700. The other cheaper options such as trains and buses were either not available due to restricted operating times or too difficult due to multiple changes required.

Fuji Speedway is such a unique stay and I would highly recommend. The attention to detail and the adherence to the racing themes throughout the entire hotel, including restaurants and rooms, is very impressive. The location is great to explore Yamanashi and Hakone regions, if you don't mind a little driving. The restaurants were excellent and we also really enjoyed our high tea experience. The swimming pool facilities are also amazing.

We stayed over Halloween and the events were fairly light. We went to the bar for Halloween and paid an exorbitant amount for two very average cocktails. Obviously can't control for the weather, but consider the season of your stay when booking here as Mt Fuji may not be visible at all during your stay.

I love that this hotel has no hidden/additional charges for breakfast when I have clearly indicated 2 adults and 2 children in booking.com, some other hotels actually do not honour the number of pax I have indicated and insisted to charge extra for my children's breakfast. Also, the convenience to park our rented car in basement level (for free!!), cleanliness, mt. Fuji's view and modern interior design are really adding up to be the best hotel around mt. Fuji!

This hotel is a paradise of Motorsport fanatic, from the Circuit View room, Bar 4563, Fuji Motor Sports Museum to Fuji Speedway driving experience, Fuji Motorsports Forest, my hubby enjoyed all of these so much!! We stayed at Circuit View room that was spacious and cozy, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great. For the wife, I loved the spring afternoon tea, Robata dinner and breakfast, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to spend time at wellness center.

More restaurants for dinner would be a plus.

One of the best hotels I had the pleasure of visiting. A straight 10 out of 10 points. The speedway didn't try to impress its guests with large golden halls, but rather with perfect attention to detail. The design and theme of the interior design is on point. Sometimes you only notice the references at second glance, such as the seams on the small leather tray for the selection of whiskeys or the switches on the bed that are reminiscent of the cockpit of a racing car. The room numbers in the design of a gear shift. Such things can quickly seem kitschy, but here it's simple and elegant. The staff is what you would expect in a good hotel. Attentive but reserved and it gives the guest the genuine feeling of being welcome. We had a room with a view of Mount Fuji which gives the room a unique atmosphere. Anyone with a passion for racing cars or just understated luxury should visit Fuji Speedway.

The hotel is really nice and comfortable with a stunning view of Mount Fuji. The room is well-equipped with plenty of amenities. Breakfast was really good. The onsen (hot spring) facilities were enjoyable.

The restaurant is overpriced. The hotel offers a transfer service from the train station, but when we requested it, they said there were no seats for babies (even though we had a baby car seat). We had to spend over USD 50 on taxis instead. Noise from nearby train tracks could be heard inside the room. Upon arrival, the front office suggested having meals in our room for our baby's comfort. We asked about room service fees, were informed it was free, but ended up with a surprisingly high bill.

We had the best time staying at this hotel. My children loved watching cars at the circuit from our balcony and exploring the museum. The Fuji view at breakfast was breathtaking. We had in room dining for dinner and the food was amazing. The hotel staff were very helpful. Location was perfect for us; 20 mins drive to gotemba premium outlet, 30 mins to snow park Yeti and 30 mins to Lake Yamanaka.

I wish they had shuttle services to places other than just gotemba station.

Where do I start? I booked a King Room type for the nights and it was the best decision ever. The room so spacious and well designed and the best was we were blessed with the Mt Fuji View room! The service was great from check in to check out with everything spelt out clearly for our understanding. The location is only accessible by Car (not sure if they have shuttle services) but I reckon if you’re in this part of town, you’ll be driving. In summary + points : • big and spacious room • great shower facilities • comfortable beds and pillows • room has a table and 2 chairs for us to chill and have snacks/ do work • TV can connect AirPlay for Spotify and Netflix I will definitely come back again if I’m in this part of Japan in the future!
