Probably is the better option to stay in Fujiyoshida. A cozy, warm and wonderful place to spend the nights. A real japanese house with an special essence. You can walk to one of the main streets in lees 1 minute. We spent nights and Veronica let us to do an early check-in the second day (we came from Mt Fuji). She is a so warm person and helped us with all. You can find some places to eat near and you can reach the bus station in 12 mins walking or less. Good tip: wake up early and go to the main street to see the Mt Fuji sunrise:)

It's a beautiful guesthouse, more like a cozy home than a hostel in terms of atmosphere, so it may not be the best option for solo travelers looking to socialize. The staff was friendly, and everything was in good order. There is a microwave and hot water, which was convenient. The location is also good. However, it was cold inside—it actually felt even colder than outside. There is an air conditioner, but I don’t like the fan-type heater; it just doesn’t work well for me. Still, I recommend the place overall

The owner was incredibly accommodating. I was given permission to arrive one hour earlier than requested. The home is beautiful and so clean, ai couldn't find a speck of dirt, even the bathroom. The place was easy to find and easy to get to the trailhead of Mt Fuji trail There was no noise surprisingly. Honestly it was the best stay I had this trip, I wish I could have said a proper goodbye to the lovely owner.

It is a beautiful Japanese home, but the stairs are steep. That is my only issue which I can get around. If I could live there, I would.

We loved our stay at Fujiyoshida Hotel. The owner was very sweet and kind, she welcomed us with a warm smile, and kindly let us park the car at the car park. The traditional Japanese room was very clean and lovely, and the place was quiet. The room had a view of the majestic Fuji-san, which allowed us to quickly know whether it was visible or covered before leaving the hotel. We simply loved the experience, I highly recommend it!

Amazing, amazing & amazing. It's your typical postcard Japanese room you imagine while visiting Japan. Loved it to the core. The host was super super nice. Asked me twice, if everything is okay or not. I had a fantastic room. Everything was super clean. And the location is just 10/10. I loved it. I will definately visit her house again.

The host is incredibly thoughtful and owns a wonderful house, well located in the center of Fujiyoshida. We had a very warm welcome and great advice from our host, who also always kept the surroundings remarkably clean and tended to any of our needs. Our Japanese-style room was the cherry on the top, traditional and functional, comfortable and cozy, cleaner than most hotels.

This place has something magical. The owner is well-prepared, hospitable, and provides everything you might need. Everything is clean and authentic, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a Japanese story. My room also had a view of Mt. Fuji and was located near the Chureito Pagoda. I was able to wake up early and take a 23-minute walk to watch the sunrise.

This has everything that you need, free Wifi, air con, free tea & coffee and is located not far from the station, right on the Main Street, I even had a clear view of Mt Fuji from my window! The host was also so welcoming, friendly and helpful :) (Also, don’t be put off by the fact that there are just mattresses and no bed frames as these were so comfortable and I had an amazing sleep every night I stayed here!)

An special environment with a lovely staff. A real place, cozy and warm where you can feel the peace in a small town. The hostel is perfect 10/10, near of the mains attractions and just 15 seconds walking to the main street where, if you are lucky, Mt Fuji will wake up you with a really wonderful sunrise. Best place in Fujiyoshida.

I really like the the japanese style tatami mat rooms! Its really comfortable, very clean, and exceeded my expectations, very recommended!!

I didn't like how hard it is to look for this hostel when you're in the area, I got lost for abit. It is quite hidden in a small alley way but you will get used to it!
