Wish we had more than 1 night here. It was a beautiful house and we had the most lovely welcome from the owner who was so friendly, great communicator throughout booking with keen interest to ensure everything ran smoothly for our stay. The house had heating that made us feel so nice and warm as it was freezing outside. Sadly weather was not good so didn’t see Mt Fuji at all but would love to come back in the future.

We appreciated the living and bedroom areas, with traditional Japanese style. The atmosphere was magic, drinking sake in the living room, making our own bed, and sleeping on the floor. The floor was tidy, lots of services and tools available, including an USB adapter. Very nice and kind owner, he allowed early check-in with no additional costs. The location is good to reach viewpoints of Mt Fuji

Unfortunately, the kitchen and bathroom were not clean enough, especially the fridge, sink and kitchen drawers. Probably, the fact that the house is old made it look worse. The location was fine for us, but it may not be the best to reach the 5 lakes area (there is a train that does not run frequently enough).

Great property, we absolutely loved our stay. There is a view of Mt. Fuji from the street. Walking distance to Mt Fuji Station which can connect you to Kawaguchiko station (where the five lakes route buses are). A 7/11 and pizza shop around the corner.

We can highly recommend this guest house. The patron is fantastic, the house is beautiful and it is only a few minutes' walk to the station and to Kanadorii. It really was a great stay.

Host was so lovely and gave us a tour of the house/facilities when we arrived. We loved the traditional living and sleeping on the futon mats! The place was very clean and spacious! It was walking distance to restaurants and 7/11. You can see my fuji from the main street it was amazing!

The owner is very friendly, he come to open you the house and show you all facility of the Japanese house. He also give you place to eat depend on what you like. I truly recommend him. Next time I come to fujiyoshida. I ll come here.

Wonderful experience in a traditional Japanese home. Beautiful view of Mt. Fuji just outside in the street on Route 139. We loved the kotatsu.

Since it is a traditional home (no central heating), the common areas and the water can get very cold at night in the winter. There were heaters in individual rooms, but we would recommend other guests to dress warmly.

Very spacious and comfortable in traditional Japanese style accommodation. The whole family enjoyed it and was very close to the sites in Fujiyoshida with great view of Mount Fuji right outside the doorstep. I would highly recommend.
