Location close to restaurants and train station, Room reasonable size and functional. liked the technology in the room, Amenities ( tea , coffee etc), some reception staff excellent, personable and friendly made us feel like valued guests, TV good, shower enclosure very good and user friendly. Would stay again and recommend to others.

no sign pointing to reception, toilet roll holder in awkward position and potentially dangerous, PAPER CUPS - hardy environmental friendly as Megu Fuji 2021 claim to be, Some reception staff not so welcoming and need training. When we first checked in - I said hello in Japanese only to be greeted but the female receptionist simply said "passports", When passing reception staff throughout our 4 day stay, rarely did we see a familiar face at reception and 50% of the time no social greeting by the staff - we were wondering if we were really welcome guests. Overall, it is acknowledged this region is expensive for accommodation but this establishment at 30,000 yen a night is moderate value

We had an amazing experience thanks to the incredibly friendly and English-speaking staff member who welcomed us. He was like a personal tourism officer, giving us fantastic tips on how to explore the Kawaguchiko area while avoiding the tourist crowds. He even suggested some hidden gems beyond the usual lake and pagoda sights! Despite arriving late, the self check-in process was a breeze thanks to the clear instructions provided. Our room was perfect for two people, with plenty of space to relax. The mini café on the first floor was a delightful surprise, offering free coffee and tea. Plus, each floor had a microwave oven, making it easy to heat up our meals. The place felt like a mini tourism info center with lots of reading materials available. It was so quiet and serene, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooftop was a highlight, offering stunning views of Mt. Fuji – an ideal spot for some quiet moments. Overall, the place was fantastic and definitely worth the cost. Highly recommended!

The nearest convenient store and supermarket is about 1km. I suggest you buy everything you need before you check-in.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel! The rooftop offered a stunning view of Mount Fuji, which was a perfect way to start and end our day. We were hoping to enjoy the same view from our room, but unfortunately, on the third floor, the view was blocked by a building in front of the mountain. What really stood out was the reception area, where you could even choose from a selection of pajamas, a thoughtful and unexpected convenience. Lastly, the hotel’s location was perfect for our sightseeing trips. Being right next to the train station made it super easy and convenient to travel to all the main attractions. Definitely a place we’d love to return to!

Our room was located next to the elevator and the area with the microwave, which got busy at times. This caused a bit of noise, especially in the evening, which was a bit disruptive.

They upgraded our room with mt Fuji view ! We are very happy and thanks to Megu Fuji! The location is awesome with the direct view to mt Fuji at the roof top ( and our room) , walking distance to mt Fuji station. Also very near to the few popular tourist spot for mt Fuji view . It is very convenient we can catch sunrise of mt Fuji view within minutes once wake up, the rooftop giving the unblocked view of it! There are simple breakfast, onigiri and red bean. Kitchen area equipped with all the needs. A simple drinks station located at room level given us very convenient to take the hot drinks at night. Check in and out experience is very good with the flexible and help from the staff.

The room is quite cold during the night. Not sure is the room insulation not good or the aircon/ heater function have issue.

The room was very clean! Bed really comfy. Spare towels downstairs along with other free things. The staff are really friendly and helpful! There is a lovely cake shop just up the road called Abend! Convenience stores within walking distance only 10 minutes you also have a couple to choose from! Plenty of places to eat close by also. If you have a car the hotel also provides free parking. There is also roof access where you can view mount fuji from! Food vans also visit regularly too. They also have biked to hire and umbrellas to use for when it rains! Would recommend and we would stay again if ever in the area , thank you 😁

Nothing we didn’t like.

It's a very nice and cozy hotel. It's very close to Mt Fuji station which is about 2 mins walk. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They can even organise the luggage delivery service for us. Although, I think that the price for the luggage delivery service that they charged are higher than the previous hotel that we stayed. There are some restaurants and cafes close by too and most of them are short distance walking. I like the rooftop/terrace where you can see the Mt Fuji. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

Nice Hotel with friendly and supportive staff. Plenty of stuff provided for free (Tee, Coffee, Pyjamas, toothbrush etc) or for purchase on trust we're you pay by yourself (Food, Drinks, Snacks). Public are with kitchen is available as well as a rooftop terrace with nice view on fuji-san! Rooms were spacious and clean with all you need, as well as view on Mount Fuji (not in all rooms I suppose). Location was ok for us as we arrived by car, so we cannot tell more related to public Transport as we reached everything quickly by car. Parking lots are either directly in front or a few meters away of the Hotel. For us it was a decent stay.

Beds were not entirely comfortable (personal opinion) and it was quite cold next to the bed alongside the wall as insulation of walls and especially windows were not good.

I've been in Japan for over a month the staff was by far the friendliest of any of the places I've stayed. Everything was clean and organized. It was only a two minute walk to the station which was a plus.

I specified to have a twin room but was given a double bed instead. Hotel told me that Booking.com did not send them this specific request. As they were full, they could not give me a twin room. Very inconvenient. Tried to leave a message for Booking.com, but could not do so as the web page kept referring me back to the hotel. Since when did Booking.com shut down it's message board? The only option as to phone Bookings local agent, which was not convenient for a tourist.

Definitely the biggest and nicest room for that price range we had throughout our Japan trip; very conveniently located right beside the train station; great water pressure; well organized and friendly staff; free bike rental; the Fidji View is amazing, but it should be noted that the window has a metal grit integrated, so for untouched photos it is better to use the roof top terrace available to everyone; unfortunately no breakfast, but a common room area with coffee and microwave
