Our room was simple and comfortable with amenities provided such as towels, hot water, fridge, hair dryer, toothbrush. Sink, toilet, shower/bath facilities are shared between all the guests but everything is clean and bathing times are time-separated by gender. The highlight is the owner, who was very kind and accommodating to our needs. He went out of his way to take care of us and to make sure we have a good stay.

The location is far from town and the bus only comes once a day, so we walked to and from the pension village. It is about a 40-minute walk from the pension to Oishi Park. Our stay was expensive (~13,000 yen per person, per night) because of the Kawaguchiko summer festival.

Outdoor bath was very nice, although some guests didn’t adhere to the five person limit, or understand how to use the showers. The owner was excellent, extremely helpful and always willing to accommodate and help with local suggestions and bookings.

For me, there was a little too much noise transfer through the door/walls. Anytime someone closed a door it seemed to rattle my bedroom window. The bed also seemed to slope to one side. If you don’t have a car, the location might be too isolated.

Shinkyou was the best part of my vacation here, he was an amazing host, he went over and beyond with his hospitality. While filling out my check in form he noticed my birthday was the next day and got some pastries the day of. THANK YOU SHINKYOU! I definitely recommend this stay and will come back:)

Located in the Petit Pension Village, very clean and quiet. The host is very cute, hospitable and enjoys hosting, treating every customer with heart, therefore customers enjoy their stay. The host also speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.

Low public transport connectivity. The last bus from Kawaguchiko Station departs at 17:45 and only arrives at Oishi Park, which is still far from the property. Taxi would be very expensive and hard to take.

We had the onsen just for ourselves, pretty peaceful place and the owner even let us pick the bycicles despite only staying for a single night. Super friendly.

Finding places to eat past 19:00 was hard and far away from the place, but it's not their fault.

Friendly and accommodating host. We enjoyed the included breakfast and the indoor and outdoor bath. Location was tranquil and convenient by car with plenty of parking.

Really loved our stay here. It was a comfortable and relaxing experience. Great location, clean rooms, Onsen etc. everything was up to the mark.

Very nicely kept inn, and the onsen is simple but fantastic. You can’t beat the scenic view you get.

The location is pretty hard to access without a rental car or pre scheduled taxi pickups. Not a breaking point by any means, just be aware if you want to go back into town.

Staff was friendly. The lobby had manga. The onsen was fabulous.

Location is a bit far from the lake and supermarket, but still good. There was a convenience store in the area.

Very close to lake Kawaguchiko. But you need a car or a bike to easily access the other tourist spots.
