My family chose the single level Cosmos room because we had a toddler and elderly, so it's safer compared to the double storey villas. The room was super spacious with 2 separate rooms, a tub, open kitchen and a balcony. Mt. Fuji was partially blocked by a few houses in front of our yard (see pics), but no biggie because Oishi park is just right next to the property, and only takes less than 5 min walk to get a full, unblocked, beautiful view of a HUGE Mt. Fuji across Lake Kawaguchiko. That being said, the view from the rooms and balcony is still pretty great! The room was clean and we included breakfast and dinner (hotpot one night and BBQ for another), which was a great decision because the food were great and delicious! There's a small convenience store 2 min walk away from the villa, but shops around the area does not open too early and closes early, so getting meals from the villa is highly recommended. My two year old was absolutely delighted by the spacious house to run about and the cute tiny rubber duckies which the villa provided for bath time. We went during early March which is pretty chilly, but the villa heating and heated floors were enough to keep us cosy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Although the reception only opens at 7am, we had to check out at 6.30 am so they helped us booked a taxi, and provided abundant breads and juices the day before for breakfast. Will definitely recommend for families!

If i have to nitpick, the location of the villa is the furthest from the Kawaguchiko station (villa is the last stop) by the sight-seeing shuttle available there. The shuttle only starts around 9+am, so if you need to travel back to the station outside of shuttle timing, you will need a taxi (cost around. ~2300 - 2500 yen from villa to station, ~ 15min drive), which I think is still acceptable!

We loved the beautiful view of the lake and flower garden below. It was supposed to have a perfect view of Mt Fuji but the weather didn't allow it. The villa was modern, clean, comfortable. The beds were comfortable. We ordered a BBQ dinner which was sumptuous. The range of food was excellent. It has quality and quantity.

The worst part of the villa is the front room with the view. There were 4 panes that made up the skylight. There was not a blackout option and in summer the light came into the room and disrupted our sleep at 5 am. This was most unpleasant.

The VIEW!!!! Amazing views of Fujisan located at Oishi Park, a sort of natural, garden park area. The villa was super spacious with two bedrooms, a kitchen area with a stove, microwave, rice cooker and kettle. There is a large dining area and an outdoor area. (Nice, but cold in winter). Located at the terminus of the sightseeing redline bus which goes from Kawaguchiko station.

Not many food optins nearby. You will have to plan to buy supplies from a supermarket closer to town or find a restaurant in town before they all close!!! Many seem to close around 5 pm. (They may close earlier in winter).

The place is just out Oishi Park by the side of Lake Kawaguchi. We had the Tsubaki room, the 2-bedroom apartment on the upper floor. It has an amazing view of Mt. Fuji from the living area and one of the bedrooms. The other bedroom and the very spacious bathroom also have a view. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could potentially need, and we were welcomed with some lovely coffee and dorayaki. We only discovered it before we left that we actually had a private backyard too next to the house which has BBQ facilities, outdoor tables, chairs and sofas, and of course great mountain and lake views. I can't recommend this place more!

Everything! Best place we stayed in our whole 3 weeks of Japan. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The balcony and view of Mount Fuji was breathtaking taking and the bbq in our private garden watching the sunset on Mount Fuji was honestly a dream. We loved the small, cute coffee places across the road too for breakfast and it’s right on the doorstep of Oishi park so you can experience in morning and late afternoon before crowds / tours. If you’re debating booking go for it, you won’t regret it.

Nothing. It was perfect.

The house is beautiful and private. There is a lawn and good common areas in the house. There is cooking equipment, a small oven, and an electric grill. Outdoor barbecue grill, glasses, plates and complete condiments. Divine view, has a garden nearby and is next to Oishi Park. Can easily go out for a run. There will be snacks prepared according to the number of guests. The bathroom is large, with a large tub, separate wet and dry zones, very complete equipment, complete with cleansing, facial cream, soaking powder, various spa scents.

There are a few bathrooms compared to the number of guests (6 people staying, 1 bathroom). There is no bottled drinking water in the room.

Awesome location & close to transport. Nice views of Mt Fuji. Very nice villa. Clean, comfortable & spacious with good facilities. Had a private yard, seating & BBQ. More relaxed atea than the main town.

Pillows were hard with no alternative. Skylights in main bedroom meant the room was very bright early in the morning. One of the electric skylight curtain shutters did not close which did not help.

The views of Mt Fuji from our lounge and bedroom windows were absolutely stunning. The location is fantastic being at the quieter end of Kawaguchi. Be aware that everything shuts down around 6 pm so plan to eat early but we really liked the peace and quiet after Tokyo. The lake is beautiful and this stay was a highlight of our trip.

Just be aware the bathrooms are slightly dated but they are clean and we didn't mind at all. It is very good value for money.

Clear open view of Fujisan. Also you can see the lake and the Mt. from your bathtub. The place is very near to Oishi Park which is a landmark around the lake and also the Oishi Hana Terrace has many interesting shops you can find. Nearest bus stop is about 5 min. walk. There is a conbini nearby they close at 8pm but if you need something just go there instead of 24hr. conbini near the station. The staff is so nice even we come in a big group they can take care all of us just fine. Some of us forget things back in the room after we checkex out. The staffs found them and sent to us at another place. Thanks to them we still have a good time in Japan on this trip.

Nothing at all. Maybe that some rooms is on 2nd floor and not so good for someone who has a heavy baggage to go upstairs.

We booked the Chamomille villa for a day. The whole villa and location were absolutely perfect. The staff was so very nice in accommodating our needs. Ooishii Park is just a walk away. The view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji was gorgeous as it was a day with warm, clear skies. We would definitely book again. Be aware that the view itself is dependent on the weather, so check the weather forecast in advance.

There's nothing to not like as our stay was perfect.
