Villa Ensoleille is an incredible place to stay. The staff is amazing and friendly and makes you feel like family. The accommodations are very clean and well maintained and feel as if you're the only one to have ever stayed in them. It feels like home. The views from upstairs of Fuji are breathtaking, and if you get units C or D, you can enjoy a nice meal outside while still having a clear view of the top of Fuji. The accommodations include everything necessary to cook full meals and store plenty of groceries if you stay for extended periods of time, and the tub upstairs is a great place to unwind after a long day. The local area is fantastic as you are only a few minutes' walk away from the shores of Lake kawaguchi. Also, the location is just far enough away from the main tourist area that you're not bothered by the noise and congestion of tourist during their peak hours. Quiet walks around the neighborhood are revitalizing and offer even more spectacular views of Fuji as you pass open fields and locals homes. Villa Ensoleille is an absolute must!

We stayed at this hotel by a friend recommendation. As someone who has visited Japan thrice, it has been one of the most fun experiences so far. Hiro-san is highly trusted. He cares tons about the clients. After an amazing day at FujiQ, he went for us to the station in Fujikawaguchiko and then gave us a ride to the hotel (which is a big house in a villa) I HIGHLY recommend renting the electric bikes (these are not motorcycles but assisted bikes), and then have a ride to the town and get some gelato and know the town. This hotel can easily keep more than 4 people if they are willing to sleep in futons downstairs. The bathroom is amazing. The kitchen even has a rice maker machine (it uses AI, lol). If that's not enough, you can also rent a grill or barbecue! Hiro-san = greatest of all time One of the best experiences in this third, 25-day trip

The villa was very large when comparing with a Tokyo hotel and was beautiful with full panoramic views of Mt Fuji. With full cooking facilities, it was a home from home. The manager Hiroyuki and I believe his parents who run the Villa were so nice and helpful with any questions we had. The complimentary transport from Kawaguchiko station was easy to arrange with Hiroyuki before arrival using the messaging service provided through the Booking.com app. As other reviewers had mentioned the driver will also offer to take you to a large supermarket to stock up if you plan to cook during your stay, we did visit the supermarket and we are glad we did. We had a great BBQ in the villa's outside seating area the first night. The BBQ is provided for a small charge by the villa, they get it all going for you, you just have to cook and enjoy! There is FamilyMart (like a 7 eleven) about 15 mins walk away if you forget anything. The villa also has electric and standard bikes for hire. There are a lot of attractions in walking distance from the villa and a regular bus service if you want to venture further.
To be honest I can't think.of any thing. I would have happily stayed much longer.

We had a fantastic time during our two-night stay at Unit B in Mar. The host Hiro San was super friendly and spoke English. He picked and send us to Kawaguchiko station and even to Oishi Park after we asked about the Red Bus The cottage itself was cozy and clean, with heated floors that made it super comfortable—especially during the cold wintery nights The kitchen was well equipped, with everything you need to prepare a meal, including oven, microwave oven, induction cooker, and all the necessary utensils to prepare meals with ease. The bathroom was another highlight, with a bathtub and jacuzzi. The location was just perfect. Lake Kawaguchi and some cool attractions were within walking distance, and the bus nearby made getting around super easy. The view of Mount Fuji from our room was absolutely great, especially with the snowy backdrop—it is something we will never forget!

Hiro, the manager of the Villa was really nice, considerate and professional. I arrived at Kawaguchi station at night and it's really difficult to get transportation at night there. Hiro very kindly arranged a driver to send me and my friend to the villa and also to the supermarket. On the second night, after visiting Arakurayama Sengen Park, my friend and I was stranded at Kawaguchi station as there was no taxi or bus and it was really really cold. I texted Hiro to ask whether he is available and willing to send us back to the villa from Kawaguchi station and he very willingly agreed and sent us back to our villa (even though it was not part of the services that I've paid for). Last but not least, after we've checked out from the villa, Hiro allowed us to keep our luggages in the storage area while we go out to have lunch and visit the Music Forest before we took a bus to Shinjuku.
Maybe just the stairs because it may be difficult for people with huge and heavy luggages to carry them up the stairs to the bedrooms. Personally, I left my luggages in the living room and took what i needed to the bedroom.

The owner, hero was such an amazing host. He went out of his way and took us to the grocery store for us to buy groceries. He even took us to station to catch our bus to Tokyo. The villa itself was superb and had everything we needed. If we visit Japan again will surely stay again in Villa Ensoleille
The location of the villa is little far from the Kawaguchiko center and bus stand. So little difficult to commute with small babies.

Amazing views of Mt. Fuji from the apartment; heated living room floors; all the kitchen amenities; the extremely helpful host; and the central location. The apartment is a short 5 minute walk to the main street where you can catch the red line tourist bus that takes you to all the major sights along Kawaguchiko. A bonus was that we were picked up at the bus station by our host who stopped by the huge grocery store so we were able to stock up on food. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and showed us how to use all the apartment's features. He was super helpful, including with assistance getting to our next destination.
We enjoyed everything!

We stayed here for 3 nights and Hiro sama and his family are very kind and welcoming... we were picked from the bus station to the villa and Hiro dropped us back to the bus station after our stay. The place is so beautiful with complete ameneties. Has a good view of mt. Fuji. And near to the bus stops... I would recommend this place 100 %..... And lastly, we were given a beautiful keychain(token) after our stay..... To Hiro sama and family, Thank you so much and we have enjoyed our stay in your beautiful villa...

The host here was extremely friendly and helpful. We were given a lift to and from the train station. There were amazing views of Fuji-san from every room - even the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom - the spa bath was lovely and it was great that you can keep the water heated! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we had in all of the places we stayed in Japan. Easy to get to the tourist bus which was regular enough during the day.
A little difficult to go out to restaurants at night without our own vehicle - dark streets for walking - but this was not a huge deal. It is perfect for self catering though!

The villa offers a clear view of Mt Fuji and it’s within a few minutes walk from the lake. It’s beautiful and offers ample space for 5 of us. The staff (Hiro san) made the stay exceptional. He went out of his way to make the stay more comfortable. He drove us to the supermarket and waited for us to get dinner. He was accommodating and friendly, and we agreed the stay was the most comfortable in our trip.
One of the bedsheets was stained with lipstick mark. We understand that it cannot be washed off so we just flipped over the bed sheet.
