We really loved our stay. It was a beautiful location looking right at Mount Fuji. It was extra special as we were really lucky with a beautiful day and night so the visibility of Mount Fuji was excellent! We wished we could have stayed an extra night. This place is really relaxing

We arrived at 2pm in the afternoon after getting a bus from Tokyo and than a taxi from the train station. On arrival we were informed that we couldn't stay on the property until 3pm. Just something that would have been great to know as there is no reception, sitting area for guests to even wait. Normally check in is at 3pm but to not be able to wait at the property until that time would have been vital to know and we would have stayed in town for longer Not a deal breaker and we had a wonderful experience once we could check in but its just something nice to know for your organisation

Really amazing experience and original room. The environnement is impressive. BBQ on the terrasse and fire place to enjoy a drink was really great experience even under the snow.

The hotel is not adapted to strong weather conditions: the setting of the heating was not working all times which obliges is to wake up during the night to switch it on again as temperatures were falling down under 0 Celsius. Breakfast could be revisited, it is not as per expectations for the price of the night. Finally, it is really challenging to be understood in English.

We had a fabulous time at Minenohana - we were blessed with exceptional weather so to see Fuji so perfectly brought tears to my eyes. The staff were so kind and warm to the children, as well. The tents were very comfortable - we were there in April so it wasn’t too hot or cold. The bbq was very plentiful - lots of beef, pork and chicken (perhaps vegetarians would need to sort out another arrangement). Would definitely suggest to take the tents located on the higher level to get the best views. The bonfire and the marshmallow roasting at night were a lovely touch, as well.

We had no complaints whatsoever.

Beautiful view. Very good service. Nice and friendly staff, but they don’t speak English so prepare your translators 😂. Very big dinner, which you make by yourself but the atmosphere is very nice. You can also use bonfires on your terrace which is cool.

Our tent was cracked in the middle of the “window” and it was fixed with foil so the view from the tent wasn’t nice but fortunately every tent has own terrace. Breakfast is kind of small. Is quite far from everything and is hard to find a taxi. They provide shuttle service from and to Kawaguchiko station which is good.

Staff were very accommodating. Appreciated the meal delivery to the tent site (breakfast, BBQ dinner), and collection of used dishes, etc. Room and beds are especially comfortable. Bathroom was modern, clean and comfortable.

It rained during our stay, and the tent leaked in a few spots; it seemed to be addressed by the second night. More disappointing was that Mt. Fuji was not visible at all due to the weather.

Shinji was an incredible host, serving us with great enthusiasm and friendliness, and making us feel right at home immediately. The whole experience was surreal, with Mt Fuji as a view from the moment we woke up right in our beds. The space was more than sufficient, with clear amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner with the BBQ was just an exceptional experience that I will recommend to anybody interested in grilling and eating at a private terrace with Mt Fuji as a picturesque view!

A great and unique experience during our Japan trip. Shinji-san and his staff were magnificent, picking us up and dropping us off, carting our luggage in the rain, and attending to any of our needs. The facilities are clean, modern and comfortable, the view was amazing despite the bad weather and we had a great view of Fujisan while we sat on the deck and cooked our BBQ and drank cold beer. The food was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful view of the mountain. Tent was clean and very comfortable. Staff was helpful. Children had a wonderful experience spending time in the outdoors without television.

Weather was very cold (4degrees), so tent can get very cold. But electric mattress was provided so it’s nice to stay in bed. Can get noisy in the tent especially if you have inconsiderate neighbours who party till late despite property rules to lower down volume by 9pm. Car park is very very tight but staff was helpful to help us with parking whenever available. GPS might not work very well when we were trying to get to the property. Almost got lost.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, one of our hosts' English was a little patchy (and our Japanese very basic) but there is an app for that - and it was all fine and worked wonderfully by. The Dome tent was spacious, facilities great for glamping, and the view of Fuji truly spectacular. Dinner (self cooked food provided by the Hosts) was superb, more meat (and great meat choices) than 4 people should try and eat, we have two boys and they struggled. Given the choice I would stay again!

We're at a loss to describe how magical this place is. We had already seen so much of this wonderful country and didn't think anything could top our other stays; we were wrong. The views are incredible, the stay incredibly unique and off-the-beaten path, and the staff was over-the-top welcoming and helpful. We still can't stop talking about the service we received from the three staff members with whom we interacted the most: Kobayashi Ryuji, Tanaka Kazuma, and Dondee (sp?). If you want all we received, plus immersing yourself Japanese recreation culture, stay here!
