When we arrived we contacted the accommodation and they sent a shuttle bus to collect us. The staff were always incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. The view of Mt Fuji from our room was truly spectacular and the room itself open and spacious. The kids loved it too and found the nook at the top they could climb up and sleep in super fun. There is no food available at the resort which they had notified us about but the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We actually found a small local butcher and purchased Wagyu at a ridiculous cheap price and ate like kings!

The environment is quiet, good to getaway from the busy city. Air is very fresh and a fantastic view of Mount Fuji (depends on room category), I got a medium cottage. Staff is very nice and helpful, most can communicate in simple English and there are a few who can converse very fluently! Walking down hill and to nearest Family Mart is around 10-12 mins and where cafes are available as well. There are buses and transport well-connected to bring you to the busy area of Lake Kawaguchiko. Best if you can drive, should try driving, parking is easily available.

December could be too cold. ha ha ha. Staff do brief us on heater operations but would be advised to warm the entire cottage as soon as you arrive but that is part of EXPERIENCE!!! It is fun!

Great views from the cottage - we were able to directly see Mt. Fuji from our cottage. Lots of parking spots right in front of the cottage if you are travelling by car. Cottage is very spacious and could accommodate a large group, there are three separate toilets, one bathroom and another shower room so that you don't have to wait long to use the bathroom if you are travelling with a large group. There is a kitchen inside the cottage so that you can cook meals in the cottage if you would like to. A BBQ is available right outside of your cottage, but you will need to pay to use this and bring your own ingredients. There is also a "scenic bath" that you can pay to use as well, with direct views of Mt. Fuji. There are vending machines around that also sells beer so if you run out of drinks, you won't have to jump in the car to get to a convenience store to buy more. Overall, great place to stay in and it exceeds my expectations.

Beware of the narrow driveways if you have a large car. Location is great but not close to any shops on foot.

Excellent view of Mount Fuji. The cottage is clean and well equipped. Would love to stay longer to explore the facilities of the resort. More suitable for travelers who drive. Got a few parking spaces in the resort so it’s manageable to bring the luggages to one’s assigned cottage. Convenient stores are just located a few minutes drive away. There is a small shop in the resort that sells a few grocery items like rice, salt, oil and ice cream! 10-15 minutes drive to tourist spots, supermarkets or restaurants.

Gorgeous location with great views of Mt Fuji. The private outdoor bath was amazing, I also enjoyed the hammock on the balcony, that was a wonderful way to spend the evening. Great breakfast spread too that they deliver to your cabin. Staff super friendly! There’s a 7/11 about a 20 minute walk away if you need to get food. Beds were very comfy too, we will be back!

The room we got is up to excellent location although there is no personal onsen but we did enjoy the tub bath😉 and the view to see Fuji in the morning was so amazing! He showed up and gone.

The ones who don’t have private car will find difficulties to walk down and up to the hotel as this is climbing the mountain up. Also may not be good walking distance as well, the hotel should have the small shuttle bus servicing as well.

Perfect for a family of five. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. Great service with a pick-up from the train station and staff waiting ready to greet and checkin when arrived. The breakfast was plentiful - worth having as an extra- and delivered to the room (we ended up saving the delicious breakfast stew for dinner one day with some added instant noodles). Great views of Fuji from the balcony. Beautifully maintained gardens (nicer than the pictures on the website suggest). Best of all they had bikes to hire for the day (for a very reasonable price) so no need to go back into town to collect bikes from the busy bike hire shops. They do provide a shuttle to a supermarket in the early evening, although it’s quite walkable to a convenience store - maybe 20 mins walk.

The staff were fantastic very helpful. Room was nice but not quite what was advertised on Booking.com (quite small and not what was pictured). We had an older person travelling with us who found the room difficult to access due to lots of steep jagged stairs. Regular shuttle to and from the property made it easy to get in and out of town as required. Room was clean, 2 single beds downstairs and 4 mattresses on the floor in the loft area (not easily accessible) amenities were small. Loved the private and the public hot spa. Great view of My Fuji from the room and the deck and around the property. A couple of kms walk down to the waters edge - very steep.

Absolutely stunning property!!! Will definitely Recommend to one and all. 10 to 12 mins drive from Kawaguchiko station. The villas are superb, big, clean and have open air hot bath tub. When we reached it was snowing and taking hot water open air bath in snow was surreal. Out villa had a hammock too. They deliver breakfast in room and I have eaten one of the best soft breads there. Sunil and Rajesh were super helpful. The only drawback is they have Electric kettle in room but no tea/ coffee sachet and also coffee is available at Reception only. One can buy it but it shuts by 3pm. This is a place where one will love to sit and sip on coffee, sleep in hammock and read books.
