We loved this accommodation and it was perfect for our family of 5. The host was so helpful and provided us with a very useful map of the area. The accommodation was clean and well thought out- we even had a hairdryer and useful items in the kitchen. The bedding was cozy, heating was good and I slept really well here. The view of Mount Fuji is incredible. We used a car to get around the area, as advised, and this worked well for us. Overall we would definitely recommend this accommodation and we would love to return. Wish we could have stayed here for longer!

I had an amazing stay at Ururun Kawaguchiko and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Fuji Five Lakes area. The cottage was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The traditional yet cozy design made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji right from the cottage. Waking up to such a stunning sight was truly unforgettable. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway while still being close to Lake Kawaguchi and other attractions. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, providing excellent service and helpful recommendations for sightseeing and dining. They even offered pick-up and drop-off service, which made our trip much more convenient. Overall, Ururun Kawaguchiko is a fantastic choice for those looking for a comfortable stay with an unbeatable Fuji view. I would definitely stay here again!

This is by far one of the best accommodations we've stayed in! We came here 2 years ago when there was still Covid and easy to book and were very impressed with the view! Also with this price it offers great value. We came back here again in this trip trying to book this house on the first day they opened for reservation. It turned out they close for cleaning on the day that we wanted so we had to replan our trip around it. That's how much we wanted to stay in this house. The owner, Mikiko-san was amazing! She helped us in everything we need. She offered us the newly-opened laundry room and also gave the souvenir to our little girl. The house itself had everything we needed. We stayed here 5 nights and we cooked 4 nights, the kitchen has all the cooking supplies. The best thing is the Fuji-san view that's directly outside the house and we can have breakfast with this view or drink coffee on a patio with this view. It was amazing! My advise is to stay here more than 2 nights as there are few chances the weather will open up. Also, choose the big chalet for this view, if you choose the cheaper house, you don't have this view.

I really like the location of the accommodation. You can directly see the view of mount fuji from your room. I really appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms as well as the friendliness of the host. The environment is quite where you can enjoy a wonderful stay in the accommodation. And we are lucky to see the rainbow from the house!!!

Iit will be easier for you to reach the accommodation if you can drive. It takes around 15 mins walk from the bus station.

Ururun was absolutely beautiful as soon as we arrived we booked a third night because it felt like heaven. The view from the bedroom and bathroom was magnificent. Fuji was so clear and big, laying in bed you could just stare at it. The surrounding mountains and forests were also so so so beautiful. The place was so spacious, clean and amazing facilities. It was so peaceful and cosy, completely unreal. The host of the property was so so lovely. Ordered us food the first night, lent us bikes the whole stay and had her father drop us at the station rather than catching a taxi. She was so warm and kind and nothing was a hassle for her. I could go on forever at how perfect this stay was. It has been the best part of my trip so far and I can’t wait to come back here with my partner one day. So stunning. Thank you so much!!

Our drive from Narita Airport to Kawaguchiko was on the first day of a long weekend with usually heavy traffic. We arrived at about 8.30 pm and fortunately Miki was still at the reception desk, her friendliness made us forgot about the unpleasant long drive. Our stay was enjoyable.

Two things that I am not very used to in a typical Japanese home: 1. No chairs to sit on. For an elderly like me who has some kneel problem, sitting on the floor was a challenge. 2. Having to get used to the toilet separated from the bathroom.

I love everything here. Even though I knew it got a high score on booking.com but what I got was still beyond my expectation. The house is big and spotlessly clean with well organized facilities. Amenities in rooms are more than enough. The living room is big and lovely. I felt at home staying here. The owner is nice and helpful. My daughter forgot her backpack on the bus, the owner kindly help to communicate with the bus station staff to delivered it back. How lovely she is. Atmosphere was great and Fuji view was stunning from living room. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to everyone and wish I could have chance staying here again :))

The hostess was very helpful. She ordered delivery, gave us directions, and even took us to the station after checkout (a great surprise, we weren't expecting it). The house is beautiful, clean, with air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, good bathroom amenities, nice futons, and blankets. We used the bicycles for sightseeing. There are many well-kept flowers in the outdoor area.

Unblocked views of Mt Fuji (even from the bath), Private parking was provided, the property was very clean and comfortable and heating facilities were good (the bathroom had heating as well) The owner was also super sweet and provided us with much recommendations of dining options around the area.

The height of the dining table is short/close to the floor (no chairs) which is not a problem but might be more challenging for the elderly who require a backrest

We had an amazing stay at Ururun Kawaguchiko. The house was very clean and it just felt like if we were in our own home. The futons were very comfortable, the most comfortable we have slept on in our Japan travels. The ladies at the office are so, so helpful and amazing. They helped us rent a car and gave us so many tips on good places to explore, things to do, and good places to eat. Any questions we had, they were always available to help. Lastly, the view of Mount Fuji is just breathtaking. I can't wait to go back to this little town and stay at this property again.
