This is an absolutely stunning property. Every detail is very intentional, the service and hospitality was top notch, from the initial room tour and explanation of your space to the best bar manager - Morita, that made our stay so warm and personal! The room itself is beautiful but if you're lucky enough to see Mt. Fuji, it only gets better. Drinks were delicious as were the included meals. The meals were extremely filling and quite an experience - I can't think of another resort or hotel that does things to this level. We loved our time here. It was a lovely reset from the hustle and bustle of a busy Tokyo trip.

Excellent and cosy accomodation near Lake Kawaguchiko. The room was very nicely furnished and it was all the little touches of nature within the room that made it all that bit more cosy. The beds were really comfortable, and there was a great view of Mount Fuji from the room as well. There was also a private onsen which provided that nice respite after a long day out. The lounge chairs out on the balcony made for a good place to relax and sip coffee and enjoy the stunning views of Mount Fuji. The staff were exceptional in their service and hospitality. Food was phenomenal too. Breakfast and dinner menus were 12-course meals and honestly it felt a bit too extravagant to be eating like kings and queens for each meal. You can definitely do with just a real light lunch. We drove around Kawaguchiko area, so parking was quite accessible as well. The accomodation is a short drive to Oishi Park where one can catch beautiful sunsets with a view of Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it made our vacation here just that much more special. :)

Service was extremely thoughtful! The server who checked us in escorted us to our room, and even tidied our shoes! At keiseki dinner and breakfast, as a family with kids, the service was very polished, and the server really could anticipate our needs and acted proactively, to the point of surprising us! The meals were elaborate and of extremely high quality. Both the public onsen and the private in-room onsen were excellent. And of course, the view of Mount Fuji was super impressive! All Fufu hotels are designed with maximum customer privacy in mind. While the hotel is not right next to the coast of Lake Kawaguchiko but is instead "hidden" in a valley, the feeling of being inside a forest yet with Mount Fuji still highly visible, the picture is really surprisingly next level! A perfect, perfect stay overall!

Incredible location and kindness of staff really made the trip. The outlook from the hotel is stunning and a truly unique place to unwind from working life. The food was exceptional (and plentiful)! You won't need lunch as a 9 course breakfast and 9 course dinner set you up for the day. The surrounding area is fun to explore but you'll always have the onsen to return to and soak up that view. We stayed on the 2nd floor. Particular mention to Daiki san, Soma san, Kazuki san, Shimura san and all the other staff whose names I didn't catch. Thank You all! We'll be back as soon as possible!

I am currently staying at Fufu Kawaguchiko resort. This is, by far, the most relaxing and well thought out immersion into the ‘Japanese Experience’ imaginable. The facilities are impeccable. The rooms, furnishings, grounds and view are beyond compare. Any service or need one may have has been anticipated and seems to appear before you think of it. And the food: locally produced healthy ingredients are crafted into culinary works of art that satisfy the appetite as well as the soul. I will be returning to Fufu Kawaguchiko whenever I need a reset from the world of business to a world of tranquility and culinary excellence.

From the moment we arrived the hotel took our breath away even before we saw our room. I booked this hotel for my brother's birthday and the staff made this honestly a stay to remember. We used the bikes and went on a bike ride and we had an onsen in our room which was great as my brother has tattoos. The view from our room was beautiful! On the night of our meal our waitress asked to take a picture of us which she then had printed and framed and put on our table for breakfast which was such a lovely memorable touch!

The lounge clothing provided came in different sizes but I would still say you need to supply a couple bigger sizes.

The decor and furniture was beautiful. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. Especially Yuto Soma who served us several times while we were there. He throughly explained each dish to us and explained how to eat it! Everything was clean and tidy. The food and drinks were incredible. We were stuffed after every meal! The bath in our room was incredible and we also liked the ability to go to the public onsen as well. There were so many activities we could do through the hotel! Finally, the ability to see Mount Fuji from our room, dining, and the garden was exceptional!

We had the best experience of our lives to date staying here. From our arrival, the staff went above and beyond and provided the best service. Our room was clean, organized, and well stocked. The view from our room was breathtaking. The staff catered to our every needs and provided us with some, if not the best, meals we had in Japan. If we ever decide to visit Fujikawaguchiko again, we would definitely stay at Fufu Kawaguchiko. 10/10!

The view is exceptional, the food is exquisite, and the service is impeccable most of the time. I love how the facilities are designed to make your view exclusive to you. A truly divine scensory experience as they try make you embed a core memory with your time there.

When I repeat this trip again, I will not take the sightseeing bus. It was horribly packed. Better off taking a cab from the train station.

The view of Mt. Fuji was amazing. The staff was exceptionally attentive and polite and reserved taxi's for us when needed. We loved the private onsen on our patio and the fire at night is a wonderful touch. The facility and grounds were beautiful. The pajamas, lounge clothes and robes provided are very comfortable. The presentation of the food was gorgeous.

The hotel doesn't provide transportation from the train station, and since there were many tourists, we had to wait an hour for a taxi. Then at the hotel we waited another hour and a half to check in - were thinking we could drop off our bags and tour around, but it's not near the town or close to tour Mt. Fuji. The breakfast and dinners were too much food for us, and since I'm sensitive with foods, there was much that I couldn't eat. The room was nice but not top quality and some of the furniture had scratches, the chairs on the patio were stained/worn, and the comforter was not soft.
