One of the guests clearly did not read the rules and started to bath well after 23. While watching a movie on full blast too. When confronted said "sorry" and at least turned the movie off. When finished he started blow drying his hair. It was midnight at that point. He slammed all the doors too most likely waking everybody up. Please don't be like this guy.

I loveeeee this place! The room was spacious and very clean. Amazing amenities and lovely view point of Mt Fuji. It is far from the train station but if you have a car, not an issue. The area is so natural and serene. It’s walking distance to the lake. The staff were just the most wonderful people. The lady at check in were so sweet and friendly. Before I left and called me over and showed me a photo spot with Hello Kitty and one of the girls also took the photos for me. I would love to come back and stay again!

The front door locks at 11pm, so need to be back by then. A couple in the room next to me got locked out.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious (I had the biggest of the three in the share house) and the futon bed was very comfortable. The community area is very comfortable and the view of Fujisan is superb (if the weather is good). A convenience store is located around 20-25min by foot.

Check-In only after 15:00 is a slight inconvenience. Especially since the last bus from Kawaguchiko station departs at 17:45. When staying for only one night the check-in time limits your planning because the Guesthouse is located at the northeast of the lake and there are no busses running after 18:00.

Beautiful and comfortable building, owners were very kind, provided additional services (e.g. bike rental, directions to local onsen). Very good value for money. Location is good for hiking and visiting the lakes on a budget. You can see Mt. Fuji from the living room, and there is a full sized bath!

Very remote if you don't have a car. The information on Google Maps for opening times for stores and restaurants aren't very accurate, so it's important to plan ahead and buy food in advance. If you go hiking, I recommend buying lunch in advance - its hard to buy food in the small towns in the area.

Note: You have to take a taxi to the Kawiguchico station as the earliest bus there is 7 am. The service is excellent. The staff was nice enough to call a taxi for us to pick us up at 5 30. The facility is exceptionally clean and probably the cleanest you will find. Although it is far from the station, it's in a beautiful area and its amazing.

Besides being far from the station its an amazing place and the advantage of being farther is you get to see the amazing view of the surrounding forest. It is truly magical and something you'd rarely see. So if your ok with getting a taxi I would highly recommend you'd stay here you won't regret it.

The hotel is very clean and tidy, and is close to Mount Fuji. You can see Mount Fuji directly from the hotel window, the view is very good, and it is very quiet at night. In addition, due to my hasty trip, I left my camera at the hotel. The owner was also very proactive in contacting me in time and helped me mail the camera I left. In short, it was a good stay experience, recommended!

We had a lovely stay at the Orange Cabin Inn in Kawaguchiko. The economy twin room was spacious enough and comfortable. The shared bathroom and toilet were clean and convenient. We particularly enjoyed the spacious lounge area, which offered a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Its location was perfect for exploring the area and it was close to the town. A very nice place to stay!

Japanese ultra nationalistic book "Theoretical Modern History" by Seiji Fuji displayed in the entrance. I think a nice book of Mt Fuji would be better.

The stay was pleasant and very affordable. The cabin's shared living room, open deck and even the bath have a full and stunning view of mt fuji. It offers bikes for rent at a very good price. The staff was helpful although they struggled with english at times.

It may be difficult to walk to at night and when acrrying to much baggage. It is a decent distance feom the main road and bus stop. If you only have a backpack or juat a few bags though, it's absolutely fine.

Private rooms at a reasonable price, quiet location and great views of Mount Fuji. The nearest convinience store is about 15 minutes away, so I'd recommend timing your sightseeing with your grocery shopping before you go back to the hotel.

The bottom bunk bed wasn't very comfortable, but I've had much worse.
