Had a great stay at Koko Hotel! Location was excellent - just a short walk to several bus stops and train lines that took us wherever we needed to go. We also loved being close to the underground shopping mall, which was a welcome reprieve when it was too hot or raining outside! Room was clean and the shower was spacious compared to most others in Japan. Staff were all very friendly. The restaurant connected to the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced.

The single laundry machine in the hotel does not work very well. We ran several dry cycles but our clothes were still soaked, even with a small load. We ended up having to set up our own clothes line in the room to hang dry, which was difficult as there wasn't really a spot to hang the line. We also had a few questions about the local festival, which the front desk staff were not able to answer. Not a huge deal, but we ended up finding the information we needed at the visitor's center instead.

This is a third visit. You would never get this kind of great, comfortable and cozy room near this Tenjin area at this price. The room is clean and well equipped, with kind and considerate help from the hotel for the asking. I already booked this hotel for summer holidays. :)

Not much to mention.

Location and amenities. It’s an easy walk from all the places we wanted to visit in Tenjinl, and it’s near a bus stop and train station. Amenities were provided by the hotel like toiletries, coffee and tea. Room was also spacious compared to standard Japanese hotel.

The room was a bit dusty and the pillows were too soft. You need two pillows to sleep.

There is no breakfast but the convenient store and a drug store is just opposite and a noodle bar is on the ground floor (if you fancy noodle looking at a screen when you eat!) and a cafe is two shops down. I popped out at 10am to buy food at Lawson just opposite, super convenient! I am happy with cleanness and cool & simple minimalistic interior.

This hotel doesn't have a breakfast facility. I wish they has as I was exhausted by flying 20 hours journey and don't feel like eat out in the morning. (you will have to remember to buy breakfast from a convenience store before going to bed) And if you arrived after sunset, there is no light in the room, I struggle to find a key card holder to set the lights on! It many be a small light above it that will help. Oh, a box of tissue paper was hidden in the drawer, you will look for everything is in the drawers even the bathroom!

Location was very central. Walking distance to all the must visit places in Tenjin. The room was big and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Freebies were more than enough.

Some of the reception staff still needs a bit of improvement. The washer and dryer was not really working well and is quite hidden on another floor of the hotel which was kind of scary. Highly suggest to have free water available.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. It was a rainy day, a lady at the front desk offered us some umbrellas and towels. Thank you!Central location, only 3 minutes walk to the Tenjin bus terminal too. Great to explore other regions of Kyushu.

More hooks or racks for towels in the bathroom would be great.

Excellent location! Close by to the subway station, and so near don quijote!

Our room was facing the main road and soundproofing of windows isn’t too great. Can hear the sirens of ambulance/firetruck and those roving ads in the middle of the night.

Everything was great and provided for. Location was also central to most places and easy to go around. It has by far the biggest room (18m) we’ve been to - we could put down and open our luggage on the floor and still have space to walk around.

Only one washing machine for guest use in hotel. 2 pillows per person would be great, some have back problems and a pillow under their knees helps.

Good location, around the hotel you will meet Donki , Shrines and Ramen shop. The staff are very helpful. The room is clean. I chose a double room, so the room size was quite spacious.
