It was the attention to detail here - what you'd expect from a top hotel, but in this case it even exceeded my expectations. For example, they provided very nice and comfortable his and hers pyjamas, in addition to the usual robes. I asked for our room to be cleaned at a specific time every day, to help with our planning of activities, and as far as I could tell they did it almost exactly to the minute requested, without missing a single day. I never had to remind the turndown staff to provide something that the housekeeping had earlier missed, because housekeeping never missed a single item - down to the last type of teabag or coffee capsule. Front office staff speak impeccable English, and were always very friendly and helpful The location was terrific, one block from an Avis/Budget rental office (which I utilised for a day trip out), less than 50 yards to a subway station, and walking distance to all the major shopping malls, with good restaurants and convenience stores all around.

Not much to complain about, and it's really getting into minute details here. The housekeeping staff don't speak fluent English, but that's common in most East Asian hotels, and a bit too much to ask for. But they know the basic words like "water," "tea," "chocolates" etc. The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking, but everyone has their own preferences, and to be fair I had a good nights' sleep each time.

The view of mountains and sea from the hotel’s vantage was such a good introduction for someone who was in Fukuoka for the first time. The breakfast was really good, especially the Japanese breakfast dishes. I also appreciate the fruit being in the refrigerator rather than exposed. The sunset view at Genjyu was memorable. Ask for the best seat to view sunset at dinner time. Bay also offered a good view and the outdoor area is chill at night. In the guestroom, I appreciates how the wardrobe could be closed off with sliding doors and I always love a WC area all clad in wood! Genjyu’s kaiseki meal was memorable - subtle, umami and fresh; nothing over the top.

Everything. From the moment we arrived in front of hotel, until the moment we left the hotel back to airport. Sublime service. The very polite lady from the bell desk even continue waived us good byes accros the street! That was really touched our hearts. We have been around the world staying in top luxury resorts and hotels, but we never encountered such personal attention and care to their guests! Simply amazing service culture! If there is an option for rating "Super Excellent", then I would vote that without hesitation! Thank YOU to Ritz Carlton Fukuoka's team. You guys are the best in the world!!!!

As a new hotel, Ritz Carlton Fukuoka is beautifully designed and served as a perfect stay for our anniversary celebration. The room is spacious, comfortable and very practical in terms of layout. We got one facing Hakata Bay and it was especially a great view at sunset and in the evening. Their breakfast selection was delicious and of high quality. We also went to their bar and Japanese restaurant, both phenomenal. Service was lovely, all the staff greet you with a smile. We would stay here again!

The hotel is clean and sleek. It’s conveniently located at the heart of the city and close to many restaurants and shops. The staff are exceptional. Sandra, David and their crew at the Bay bar at the hotel would make sure that your evenings end on a high note. Their service and attention to detail are unbeatable. Yuki, the assistant chief concierge, is resourceful and is probably the best concierge I have ever met. The professionalism and hospitality of the staff truly make this hotel a home away home. I’d definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Fufuoka next time.

There is nothing to not love about this property. The staff or so friendly, they provide a family feel and are so welcoming. One of the site employees named Nanaka was truly a kind and warm person. She put a smile on our face many times during our 5 day stay.

Everything was perfect.

The view and decoration for the room and hotel space are really amazing. The lobby and space for dining are beautiful. I believe the designer for the room tried to make the best room for clients, including the place for in-room Bluetooth audio, which is well calculated for sound reflection.

The sushi restaurant and the bar in the roof are very good . All the staffs were super friendly . The temperature was really cold for two days and they passed out hot packs for guests on their way out.

Overall amazing stay; nice spacious rooms, attentive and friendly staff in all venues. Perfect location for a city trip.

Nothing, but paying for the use of the swimming pool in this price range is a stretch.

The staff went out of their way to make up for any hiccups or small issues. The Bay bar is great and the managers are very friendly. The facilities are outstanding. Specially the gym and the pool. Great location too! I cannot recommend this place enough!
